I was pushing but my vision was getting blurry and the sound behind me was going out. I was scared. Am I dying? What's happening?
I tried to look up and when I did I seen Nick in a chair.
"You can't die Carmen you have to take care of our baby, they can't raise our baby Carmen" he told me making me start to cry.
"So why'd you leave me here by myself then Nick?" I asked him and he got up and came over to me.
"I didn't have a choice but you do" he told me before he kissed my forehead and I started hearing beeping and crying noises.
I opened my eyes to see nurses surrounded me but one was holding my baby. I put my arms out and she looked at confirmation from the other nurses before handing me the baby.
"It's a boy Mrs. Simmons" she told me as she passed him to me.
I looked down at my baby with a smile.
"Hey Nasir" I cooed at him.
I looked over at the chair I seen Nick sitting and sighed. There's no way for him to come back. There's only me and my baby.
"Mrs. Simmons we need his name for his birth certificate" the nurse told me as they took him and I wrote his name.
Nasir Navi Simmons.
Those were the names that his dad liked.
"Would you rather us take him to the nursery or you want him to stay in here with you?" A nurse asked me.
"I want him in here" I told her and she nodded.
"And is it okay to let visitors in now?" She asked and I shook my head.
She sat him in the bed beside me making me scoot up a little to look at him.
His lips are purple right now but I know that it's because he was just born and they're big. He already has one of his dads features.
Thinking of Nick made me look back over at the chair. It's like I could feel him in here making me look at Nasir who started to smile at of nowhere.
Yeah he's here.
I felt like wind or something touch me before there was a knock on the door.
"Come in!" I yelled, kinda sad.
"Your visitors would like to know if they could come in now" the nurse told me making me sigh but nod.
I know they won't leave me alone about it. Out of protection I picked my baby up before they walked into the room.
"White ass baby" Jay commented making me roll my eyes.
Coco came over to me with a huge smile on her face. She didn't try to pick up but she did stare.
"He's cute, he already had his dads lips" she told me and I nodded.
She backed away and sat beside Ace who was texting on his phone. He'd been on his phone and leaving a lot lately.
It got so bad that him and Coco started arguing about it in front of me and because she found out he's cheating.
Since then she's been nice to me. I can use it to get away which is what I've been doing.
I have all the money and plane tickets packed in me and the baby's bags. Cordae found out what happened and now he's going to help us.
