"The White Killer? Isn't that just a silly superstition?" Jason questioned, crossing his arms, Laurel frowned as Andrew let out a thought, "For once I actually agree with Jason, The white killer is some superstition someone made, there is no clear evidence it actual exists." He adjusted his glasses as he normally did when he said something smart.

Laurel huffed at the two, "Look I know people think it's a superstition but there has been sighting of it! Please can you guys just trust me!?" She pleaded with a look of disappointment in her eyes, "Look Laurel," Tommy started, scratching the back of his neck, "We hunt down killers, arsonists, and kidnappers, you know, like the Red Diamonds?"

Daniel blinked for a moment, I completely forgot about those guys. "Yeah, the difference between those guys and the White Killer is that one of them actually exists," Lucas added placing a finger below his lip.

"Yeah but-" Laurel started but was cut off when Jason had put his hand up, asking for the floor of the conversation. "If I may, Daniel hasn't told us his opinion on the matter." He stated calmly, he lowered his hand down onto his lap as he continued to stare straight forward, Jason you little son of a b-

Daniel gazed around the room as most people started to waited for Daniel's opinion, "Well, I guess all that matters is the sightings and where they were seen, it would also be helpful to know the patterns." He explained with the side of his head rested in his hand.

There was a moment of silence, that is until Laurel happily screamed and Tommy went over to calm here down a bit, Andrew looked semi-impressed at Daniel words, Lucas looked happy and yet at the same time he looked like he wanted a bottle of whisky, and Jason just sat there, it almost looked as though he was dead.

"Alright then Laurel, Tell us what you know." Lucas said with a smile, Laurel clapped her hands together and skipped into the next room, while Tommy went back over to the chess table Daniel decided to check if Jason was still alive.

He tapped the red haired males shoulder and suddenly he jolted back to reality, flinging back at the touch, a sort of paranoid look in his eyes. "You okay?" Daniel asked, the other took a deep breath and looked at him with a smile, "I'm okay, you just startled me, that's all."

Jason reassured him, before Daniel could question him any farther Laurel came back into the living room holding a vanilla whiter folder and placed it onto the clear coffee table that was in front of the sofa. "Gather around people, gather around." She waved her hand over to the other for them to sit down near the coffee tail, Daniel sat up from his spot on the couch to take a seat across the coffee table from Laurel.

Soon later everyone had taken their seats around the coffee table and Laurel opened the folder, everything inside the folder was neatly organized, there were many notes, newspapers, and what was assumed to be one, maybe two police files. "Laurel don't tell me you did," Andrew scolded, pinching the bridge of his nose which made his glasses rise up above his hands.

"I might have pulled a couple strings, which is also why we need to find this thing." She explained with a hint of worry in her demeanor, Laurel has always been a passionate person and had often passed that trait off to others.

"So as far as my research goes the White Killer dates back years ago, but the crime rates were small and rare, it goes as far as eight maybe more years ago." She explained thoroughly, taking glances at her notes every now and then.

"Wait wait wait, You've known about this for how many years?" Lucas asked curiously, Laurel looked up from her notes, "Five years." She looked back down at her notes so she could continue, however Lucas's bewildered expression practically said he wasn't done speaking. "You've known about this for five years and bring it up now?!"

Simultaneously Jason and Andrew slapped themselves in the forehead, "Yes, I did, But that's not the point, the point is the White Killer has been around for a couple years and the sightings have been getting more and more recent now." She described to the group, laying out a supposedly photo of what the what the White Killer looks like, Laurel slid the photo across the coffee table to Daniel.

"Work your magic Rochester, tell us what you can."

Daniel leaned forward and looked at the photo as closely as he could, the photo was blurred, but he could see the figure of a man, his hair was a snowy white that curled around his eyes, pale white skin, and his hands looked corrupted with black flesh, then again it could just be the way the photo was taken. "How did you get this photo Laurel?" Jason questioned, looking over Daniel's shoulder to see the photo.

"Well the person who took this photo was killed by a slice to the neck, Kara hooked me up with the photo since the police though of it as useless." Laurel said, she had put away half of her notes by the time Daniel gave her back the photo, "The White Killer has snowy white hair, pale white skin and some sort of black corruption on it's forearms."

Laurel smiled happily and placed the photo back inside the vanilla folder and flipped it closed, "Is that all we know?" Tommy questioned farther, Laurel shook her head with sigh.

"No, I'm afraid that's all I really have, for more information I have to talk to someone else inside the system." She crossed his arms in front of her, "Though with Andrew and Jason's resources we could cover more ground the White Killer."

Jason frowned and scowled, "I'm the engineer, you're the source of the cases, I don't have any resources." Andrew nodded and added on, "I concur, I don't have any sources within this town, though I do find it odd that Jason doesn't have any, after all he is the son of a very successful man." He smirked and pushed his glasses father up his nose bridge, Jason's face broke as he glanced daggers at Andrew.

"First of all, My Father is successful, not me. Second, You know very well I don't want anything to do with my father. Lastly, My sources are just the same as yours." He said provoked by Andrews statement, fight between Andrew and Jason always happened and usually left them ignoring each other for the next day or two.

"Guys, please, just calm, we can argue later." Lucas smiled thoughtfully, though that didn't stop Jason's glaring and possible ways to make his demise look like an accident. That was just how life was here, you hate and love each other, you know, like siblings. There's a lot of hidden tension between siblings.

"Anyways, like I mentioned before The White Killer has been seen more recently and it's activity is mostly during the night since nobody is really around to see a random person with such white hair," Laurel said a puzzled look, "The one thing I can't figure out is it's pattern with it's kills."

Daniel thought about it for a moment, from what he knew the White Killer was responsible for killing three separate people that had zero connections to each other, and to even have Laurel stumped meant something, the whole case is a mystery. "What if it's not about the pattern but the motive," Andrew suggested aloud, and Laurel smiled happily at her brothers suggestion.

"That actually might be it! I heard word going around that the leader of the fire organization was killed under mysterious circumstances!" Lucas beamed, You get mad at Laurel for not mentioning shit and here you are doing the same thing. Daniel thought with a tired sigh, "So the motive for the White Killer's is criminals that haven't served the justice they deserved." Jason added with his hand on his chin.

"Seems like it," Daniel reassured the other, a hand on the back of his head. "Now with that reassured we know the motive and the time the murders start, I say we take a recon mission tonight  to try and find it." Andrew planned out aloud, which got the groups agreement, thus making their night living hell.

How that night changed out fates horribly, if only we hadn't done what we did, maybe they would still be alive today......
