Jason had let go of Daniel's hand when he brought him inside, Daniel had remained in the doorway while Jason walked through the house trying to find his way to the kitchen, bringing in water all over the house and leaving many slipping hazards while doing so. When Jason found his way through the house and to the kitchen Andrew had stepped into the living room, he sighed at the mess Jason had made and walked over to Daniel, a fluffy teal blue towel in hand. "Here," He said tiredly, presenting the towel in front of him. "It just came out of the dryer, please don't make a mess all around the house. Like he did." Andrew grumbled, looking over his shoulder to the mess and hazards Jason had made when he walked in. "Sorry 'bout that," Daniel said, now having the towel and drying his soaked hair with it.Andrew crossed his arms with a sigh, "It's fine, I'll clean it before work tomorrow." He adjusted his glasses before looking down at Daniel, curiousness in his eyes. "How did you get that bruise, were you mugged by the rain or something?" Andrew asked, placing his hand carefully near the bruise to inspect it better. Daniel shook his head, placing the towel he had been drying his hair with around his shoulders. "No, just ran into a stop sign on the way here." He shrugged, probably sounding stupid with that claim but it was in fact the truth. The rather sad truth.
Andrew raised an eyebrow at him, "You know, the point of a stop sign is to stop. Running into a stop sign is both idiotic and ironic at the same time," Andrew stated, taking his hand away from Daniel to then place it on his hip. Daniel shrugged with a smile, "That's what happens when you race Jason in the rain." It was funny enough how much Daniel and Jason had bonded so much over the years with the weather in horrible condition, yet it was always peaceful to watch. Andrew nodded silently before speaking up again, "Are you and Jason dating or something? I wanted to ask you that but you fell asleep earlier."
Andrew questioned, holding his glasses in place as if they were going to fall off his face if he didn't. Daniel stared at him blankly, "no." He said with a slight frown, Daniel often wondered this as well, though in all honestly he had no true answer to this question either. Andrew smirked, letting go of his glasses as they fell back into place. "Sure, whatever you say Rochester." He said with a smile on his face, walking to the doorway that led off to the other part of the house.
Daniel rolled his eyes as Andrew had left the room, waving to Daniel from behind. Daniel continued to stand there silently, he felt his head starting to pound as though it had been a bass drum. It's probably that stupid bruise. Daniel cursed to himself, he reached his hand to where the bruise supposedly was before he flinched back at the pain. "Don't touch it," a tiredly calm voice had said, "It's just going to hurt more, trust me." Daniel looked over to where he heard the voice, he scowled at the person with a grin, "Oh really? Of course you know Jason, you picked so many fights in high school." Jason laughed sarcastically at Daniel's joke, he walked over to the blonde male with a plastic bag wrapped neatly in a small white cloth in his hand.
Daniel took a glance at the makeshift ice pack Jason held in his hand, "Do I have to keep that on my face?" He asked, he cringed at the idea of an ice pack on his face. "Unless you want your face to swell up, no." He smiled, taking Daniel's hand and placing the ice pack on it. Daniel looked down at the ice pack then back at Jason, he could see how tired the other had been, just looking into his honey golden eyes he could tell. Daniel sighed as he held the ice pack on his bruise. He cringed at the feeling but he kept it together to avoid further argument.
"Laurel and Tommy are here, Laurel's washing up and Tommy's passed out until Lucas comes back with the food," Jason said calmly, combing his hair back before it fell right back into place. Daniel glanced up at him, "And here I thought we were getting homemade meals, how upsetting." He sighed tiredly, Jason laughed lightly. His laugh was always so nice to hear, it was enough to lighten up even the saddest of people, at least in Daniel's opinion.
