"Your brother, you mentioned him to me a few times before, I just never realized how he wasn't here anymore." Daniel said softly, "I'm sorry for bringing it up." Jason smiled lightly at Daniel, he placed a hand on Daniels head, not really doing anything with it but just leaving it there."It's fine really, it happened years ago, I'm okay now really." Daniel frowned at the other ever so slightly, he may be able to fool everyone else with that charming smile of his and that same excuse but Daniel knew him a little better than that.
He wasn't over it. Not in the slightest, but Daniel knew he would never admit to it. "Jason, if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here, remember that." He said with a quiet sigh, Jason nodded and gave Daniel a small grin, it was only then he noticed how his teeth were tipped and looked sharp, semi-similar to a sharks.
Jason smiled and tilted his head to the side, "What are you staring at Rochester?" He asked while Daniel brought his hands down to his sides and into his jacket pockets, "Nothing, It's just you had a massive glow up over the years." Daniel smirked, Jason's cheeks flushed a light pink at Daniel's words, "Was it a good glow up? Or do you prefer my high school look better?"
Daniel lightly punched Jason's shoulder with a smile as they both started back on the rest of their patrol, most of that time they just talked and joked around, at that point they weren't even looking for the White Killer anymore. "And then he threw the baseball at the guy and just said 'woops' like he didn't purposely give him a nose bleed," Jason chuckled waving his hand in the air.
"And then my sister thought it was part of the game to hit the guy with things and then proceeded to throw a full crate of baseballs at him! I swear to god if the staff didn't come out at that time there would've been a carnival revolution starting that afternoon." He continued laughing, Daniel smiled happily, it was only on occasion that Jason laughed or even smiled outside the house and every time he did his laugh was quite wonderful in truth.
"That sounds like a hell of a day to be honest," Daniel commented, which made the other shake his head with a smile, "That was my life in a nutshell, all points and jokes aside though I loved my siblings, I did really." He sighed and looked up at the night sky, "It looks like it's gonna rain, we should probably hurry this up."
Daniel took a glance at Jason before looking at the sky, and as always he was correct, it was going to rain, "Alright, let's take a few rounds around the area before going back." Daniel suggested, Jason nodded and picked up his pace, he had always hated the rain and how much it ruined his hair even by the slightest.
Daniel tried walking a bit faster but he wasn't that energized to do so, they had almost finished their round when Jason stopped himself as well as Daniel, Daniel stumbled back as Jason's way of stopping him was grabbing the back of his jacket which nearly chocked him. "Jason what the fuck-!?" He yelled at the other, Jason was just squinting at the up coming alley.
"Does it look like there something over there?" He asked, pointing over to the alley, it was clear he was having trouble seeing and most likely why he wanted Daniel to take a look at it. Daniel nodded at the others request and looked at the alley as well, he couldn't see too well because of the lack of light but he could in fact see something, something that was silver and cover in another dark color.
"Yeah I see something, it's silver I think.." Daniel turned to look back at Jason, he was still struggling very much and was in fact not seeing what Daniel saw, "Do you want to try taking a closer look?" Daniel smirked as Jason let out a low sigh and nodded, "Yes please." He let go of Daniel's jacket and they both walked closer to the alley way, for some odd reason there was this uneasy feeling hanging around the area.
Jason could feel it too, his eyes narrowed down before they reached the alley, and similar to Daniel's dream previously that day there was two dead bodies, both their arms, legs, throats, wrists, and even their were eyes slit open, dark crimson blood spilled out from both of the eye sockets. Daniel felt nauseous just looking at the scene and turned his attention to the floor and spotted what he had seen before, a silver gun, blood stained on the handle, ruining it's silver color.
Jason carefully walked over to the bodies and crouched down in front of them, examining both of the bodies with his exanimate golden eyes, "I don't recognize them from any organization, must be some street thugs or something." He said quietly, he looked down over the many blood stains on the floor, he put his finger on one of the smallest stains and brought it back up in front of his face.
"The blood still stains, I would say it was at least two minutes ago, at least." He shrugged and stood up, walking back over to Daniel, both his hands in his pockets and stepping over the many blood puddles, most likely to not ruin his heels or something. "So we just missed it?" Daniel asked him, his eyes looking up at Jason's to not look at the disturbing sight.
Jason shrugged again and started walking away from the alley, Daniel obviously following right behind him. "I'm not entirely sure, but what would've happened if we did caught it on time, I can take on a few members of the mafia sure but not some snow white haired jackass." Daniel laughed at Jason's comment, who knows if he was being serious, Orchid had always said to him 'you can never tell how a man in heels truly feels, thus why I point him out about it.'
Orchid was a really nice person in high school, I wonder if she's still in town.
"Hey Jason?" Jason once again let out a hum, it was rather calming to hear it, as annoying as him not using words was. "What do you miss about high school?" He asked, trying his best to change the mood Jason was most likely in.
Jason looked back up at the sky, he let out a hum to himself, "Pouring the whole punch bowl on Jenna at the prom dance, then tripping Oliver after the whole dance was over." He smiled, Daniel rolled his eyes at him, "I know, you looked pretty damn proud of yourself in the car." Jason laughed and looked back at Daniel, "I would've said dancing with you if you hadn't stepped on my heels over a thousand times."
Daniel stuck his tongue out at the other, "You won't let that go will you?" Jason smiled at him with a shark like grin, "HAH! no." Jason said looking back ahead and starting to walk faster, as if he wasn't ahead already, "Jason get your ass back over here before I fucking beat you!" Daniel complained and rushed over to try and catch up with the red haired man, but each time he got closer the other speed up.
The both chased each other around for awhile, well, Daniel was the one doing the chasing, Jason just kept laughing at him and just kept running around. At some point while chasing Jason some small raindrops started hitting them, Jason glanced at the sky before glancing back at Daniel, He grinned and started running faster, "Last one back home has to buy the other something!" He announced loudly.
Daniel quickened his pace and tried to keep Jason in his line of sight, "Hey that's not fair you bitch!" He protested back, he heard Jason just laugh and run faster as the rain kept pouring down, at some point he lost sight of Jason, go figure, he really wanted Daniel to buy something for him. fucker I only worked as a cashier, go spend your own money.

Eventually he found the correct way home, he had been previously going to the wrong streets and at one point ran into a stop sign that probably left a bruise. When he reached the house he saw Jason out on the porch waving at him with a satisfied smile, he walked over the small set of stairs before reaching the dry porch, "You are a dick." Daniel stated, pointing at Jason.
Jason's hair was almost as messy as Daniel's, "Oh please, just be glad we left our bags here." Jason said, his hands crossed and over his chest. Well Jason left his at the door while Daniel just forgot it, or did Jason do that thing again where he steals his bag and leaves it there? It didn't really matter, if his stuff had gotten wet he'd be pissed. "Whatever, name your price."
Jason walked over to the other, "Can I get a kiss?" He asked with a comforting smile, "no." Daniel responded with a pissed off glare, "Finee, coffee it is." Jason sighed with a smile, placing a hand softly on Daniel's cheek, "Now let's go get some ice for that bruise, okay?" His words were almost as warm as his smile, he could never really be mad at him, no matter all the shit he pulled off in the past, it was always with that damn smile.
Daniel nodded slowly as Jason took his hand and brought him inside the house, his hands felt scratched up and bruised in Daniel's hand but it wasn't that bad at all, his hands were unique to him.
...
He would never forget the last time he got to hold them in his..
(An: Okay, so again this is kinda bad from what I was originally planning but we'll go with it for now, I do apologize if it's trash, I rushed this again so :/ Enjoy?)
