I was in my car, the sky already turning orange with the sun setting.

I was wearing a green long sleeves shirt with the buttons undone, a little sun embroidered onto the bottom of the buttons.

Black jean shorts to match, the shirt was tucked into the shorts.

I had picked out a random gold necklace, it was at the bottom of my jewellery box, never been worn before.

A sun, but one side of the face was missing, like it was broken off or there was a missing piece. Never the less it looked pretty and matched my outfit.

Oslo was in the back, his head resting on the open widow as he watched the cars and houses pass us by.

I pulled up outside the house, the cream walls and perfectly healthy green grass making the area so clean looking. My house looked similar, although we had more bikes parked out the front, where Tom only had one.

His bike was parked next to the two cars, most likely his parents since his brothers were too young to drive. I honked my horn, not having the guts to knock the door.

After a few minutes the door opened, black jeans, grey hoodie, and -For a change- a denim jacket over the hoodie. He looked so good.

He jogged up to my car, swinging the door open and jumping in. "Hey, Sunshine" He breathed, fastening his belt "Why didn't you knock?"

"Cuz." I answered bluntly "I have to bring Oslo, parents are out tonight" I pointed my thumb in the back as I pulled away from the curb.

"Hey, buddy" Tom reached back, scratching his head before falling back into his seat. In the corner of my eye I could see his gaze lingering on my bare thighs, but clearing his throat he looked to the road ahead.

"You also could have texted me" He spoke.

"I don't have your number" I replied.

"Give your phone and I'll put it in" He held his hand out. I reached behind me, arching my back to get my phone which was in my back pocket. I placed it in his hand, making sure to unlock it.

"There's like 8 numbers on here" He scoffed, his eyes narrowing on the screen "Including our English teacher? What's that about?"

"It— it was just for homework. Now could you put your number in and give my phone back please" I didn't like him having my phone, I didn't like how nosy he was and what he would find.

He let out a snorted chuckle, handing me it back. I took it, doing a double take between my screen, the road, and Tom.

"Daddy!" I yelled, glancing at Tom "You named yourself Daddy!" He laughed, a teeth filled smile on his face. "God, you are so childish!" I groaned, slipping my phone back into my pocket.

I ran my fingers threw my hair, pulling it behind me as I focused on the road. Tom's laughing halted, a shocked expression on his face.

"Your necklace..." He spoke.

I looked down to it, Tom picked it up between his fingers. I flinched back, uncomfortable with how close he was to me after what happened last time we were this close.

"I found it in my room, no idea where I got it" I shrugged.

"Oh" He swallowed, his eyes sad as he sat back down in his seat "It's beautiful" His eyes were on his hands which played with the rings around his fingers.

"Thanks" I said "I think it was a gift, I'm not sure."

He looked up, his hand brushing the hair off my shoulders as he looked at the necklace again. I felt small under his watch, his gaze wandered down my chest but was soon picked up to my face.
