I need a break. I need something to distract me, and how better to do that then practice for the spiker competition coming up.

I'm gonna win. I know I'm gonna win because I know practically everyone who's going, they are good but they aren't me.

I could beat those pussies in a heartbeat and not even scratch a tire.

The only problem with wanting to make sure my bike is spotless is meaning going to the shop. And Tom is working today. But I really wanna work on my bike.

I can avoid him. It's easy. I just pretend like he doesn't exist. I'm really playing the uno reverse card four years later.

Except I don't have a crush on him. Right..

I take deep breaths, walking into the shop, he was there, at the counter, on his phone playing a game of some sort.

He lifted his head when he heard the bell ring, doing a double take, he placed his phone down. "Hey..." He said, but I just walked right past with the bat of my eye "...Mack."

I walked into the back, my bike was sitting in the middle of the floor in all its shining glory. Tom didn't follow me, he knew better not to.

I spend what felt like hours working on the gears, making sure the tire was blown up properly, tinkering with different things to perfection.

I was hungry, there had to be some food in the staff room. It was late so Tom must have went home by now.

But I'm not that lucky, I found him sleeping at the table in the staff room.

I didn't bother him, I just walked up to the fruit bowl, grabbing an apple. I wanted to walk away and lock him in over night... but I couldn't.

I kicked his foot, he jumped awake, taking in a deep breath as he stretched. He looked up at me, his eyes widened.

"Mack" He gulped.

"You fell asleep" I stated. I'm pretty sure that's the first time Iv spoke to him since I.... Since I broke up with him.

I say broke up with him but we were never really together, we used each other for orgasms and make out sessions. But that was it... right?

"Uh— yeah" He glanced down at his watch "I guess I did. What are you still doing here?"

"Working" I answered, biting into the Apple.

He stood up, I took a step back. I didn't wanna be close to him, I didn't trust myself being close to him. I turned to walk out but then he spoke.

"I'm gonna compete at Spiker."

I looked back at him. "Good for you" I nodded "Good luck then."

He walked towards me, I stepped back, stumbling. He kept coming, my back hit the wall and suddenly he had his hands beside my head.

I was looking up at him with wide eyes. "Are you enjoying this?" He spoke darkly "Ignoring me?"

"You lied to me" My voice felt weak, it was like we were back at the beginning again, the sexual tension was strong, stronger than ever.

"I could say the same to you" He tilted his head to the side, narrowing his eyes.

I ducked under his arm, reaching for the door handle quickly, I got it open about an inch before he slammed it shut, standing behind me.

I felt his hand on my waist, I flinched but not because I was scared or didn't like it, I flinched because I liked it. I'm scared for how much I do actually like it.

His face was at the side of my head, breathing into my hair, I could feel my heart beating out of my chest.

"Do you miss it?" He asked "Do you miss me touching you, how my fingers felt inside you, how i sucked on that pretty clit of yours."

Don't get turned on, don't get turned on, don't get turned on.... I'm getting turned on.

"Give up this little game, Sunshine," He chuckled tauntingly "And maybe I'll fuck you right here, against this wall, would you like that, Sunshine? Would you like me to fuck you against this wall?"

Yes, yes, yes, yes.

"No" My eyes were closed, trying to block on how his words made me feel "Please, Stop."

I felt him step away, without thinking I swung the door open and walked out, slamming in behind me.

I wanted to go back, I wanted him, I need him. But I can't have him.

It's Friday. We leave for Spiker today, the rest of the class is on a coach while I'm in my car, Tom and my Dad are in the van in front of me.

I'm shoved with boxes filled with gear in the back of my car while My Dads got the bikes in the van.

Oslo was sitting beside me, hanging out the window with his tongue out enjoying the breeze.

Surrounding us was woods, trees for miles and this cemented road which looked centuries old. My Father turned his blinker on to take the next left.

So did I, then he turned into a petrel station where I Saw the school bus parked, a couple of my class mates were standing outside the shop while others were inside or still on the bus.

I parked up behind my dad, letting Oslo out the car to do the bathroom, I leaned against my car waiting for him.

"Hey" Isaac.

I can't believe he's actually talk to me. "Hi" I smiled as he leaned next to me "Tom send you over or something?"

"No, actually" He spoke "I know me and you aren't the closest but I can see something is wrong, did something happen with you and Tom?"

"It's— complicated" I sighed "You know I don't know what it is that Tom's bribing you with, so you don't have to be scared I'll tell anyone."

"Thanks" He nodded, looking down to his feet.

"Annie thinks you're cheating on her" I admitted.

"I know" He sighed.

"Is that the secret?" I asked, looking over to Annie who was talking to Nick near the bus "Are you cheating on her?"

"No—" He paused "Well.... Yeah, yeah I am."

"With who?" I asked calmly, I wasn't about to go of yelling at him.

"Doesn't matter" He shrugged, a pout on his lips.

"I'd you don't wanna be with her just say that" I nudged his shoulder with mine "It's not fair on her, Isaac."

"I know, I'm sorry."
