Y/n pov

"Mom! Sora won't shut up." Roxas whined

Myself, Ventus, Sora, and Roxas were on a trip to my world. Sora and Roxas, our two boys, often bugged each other and often asked one of us to stop it.

"Just calm down Roxas. We're almost there. Just a little longer." I answered

Ven walked closer to me and grabbed my hand with his, holding it tightly.

"Are you sure about this? You know Sora or Roxas could get hurt by a Monstie." Ven asked worryingly

I just pressed my head onto his shoulder.

"I'm sure. It's time Roxas and Sora got a Monstie like I did. They'll be fine, they're both strong... just like their dad." I calmly answered

Ven laughed a little and kissed the top of my head.

"That's true. They've also got your drive to help others."
"Mom! What's that?!" Sora asked

I turned around quickly and looked where Sora was pointing. Out of the trees walked a very familiar Monstie. It had red and tan wings, blue spikes, blue eyes, and a large spiked tail. The Monstie got very excited when it spotted me and immediately ran at me.

"I've got it-"
"Ven wait!"

Before Ven could draw out his weapon, I let go of his hand and ran at the Monstie, arms wide and smiling.

"Ratha!" I yelled

Rathalos roared a happy sound and jumped on me, pinning me to the ground as he rested his giant head on my chest.

"I've missed you too bud." I cried petting his scaly head
"Mom!" Sora and Roxas yelled

Ratha backed up and I moved in front of him, spreading my arms out to stop them from hurting him.

"Don't hurt him! He's my Monstie!"

Sora and Roxas relaxed, looking to each other and then at Ratha as I turned and put my hands under Ratha's chin.

"Ratha, these are my boys, Sora and Roxas." I calmly said pointing at my sons as Ratha looked at them

Ratha looked at Ven, eyes locked. Ratha kicked a leg back and moved his head down.

"Ratha. That's Ven, my husband." I said

Ratha looked back at me and then calmed down. I knew how Ratha was with others, even with my fellow Riders. I've raised Ratha from the day he hatched, the day I became his partner and Rider.

"Ratha where'd you-"

A familiar dark haired male jumped out from behind some bushes and trees. He stopped when he saw me and Ratha.

"Holy gods above Y/n it's you! Hey everyone!" He called

Red, the boy who spotted us, called out into the forest. Several other men of the village with hunting equipment appeared from different hiding spots.

"It's Y/n!"
"She's back!"
"And she brought outsiders!"

Red ran up to me and hugged me like a little kid excited to see their mother. Red was like my brother and I took care of him when he was younger.

"Who's that?" Red asked pointing at Ven

Ven glared at the younger boy. I knew Ven would be hostile in this environment, while I figured Sora and Roxas, who were now teenagers at this point, would enjoy themselves.
