Mesha pov

"Oi! Wake up!" Someone yells in my ear

I jump awake and see Lumine and her brother Aether smiling as Childe and Xinyan were laughing at me. Childe fluffed my dark brown hair and smiled.

"Finally you're awake Traveler! We've been waiting for you!" Chongyun exclaimed
"Yeah! We have some adventures ahead of us!" Alloy cheered

I sat up and looked at my friends, my teammates that I knew had my back in this dangerous world. I stood up and nodded to Lumine and Aether, starting to run. All my friends followed behind me as we summoned our wind gliders and jumped off the cliff heading towards wherever the wind took us.

"It seems so real."

Suddenly, the wind picked up and the sky turned dark. The sky opened and a heavenly light appeared from the sky. A city in the clouds made of stone and gold towered above us. I knew the sight as soon as it had appeared. The seas and ice started to rise as thunder and fire shot down from the sky. Land came between some of my friends, causing them to separate. The wind flung me into the air, all I could do was watch in terror as my friends battled the elements. As I started to free fall, Lumine and Aether came flying in to save me.

"Thanks Lumi." I muttered

She nodded and looked to Aether. As Aether went to reply, a purple lightning bolt struck Aether in his side, causing him to go limp.

"Aether!" Lumine yelled

I clutched her hand and looked at her, staring into her golden eyes.

"Mesha?" She asked

I smiled as Lumine dove after her brother.

"You better not lose him this time." I said

I shoved her hand off and started to free fall further into the ocean. I sent up one final air blast to lift up Lumine and her brother as I fell.

"Mesha!" Lumine yelled as she grabbed Aether and flew up from the current

I hit the water and started to sink into the dark water. As I sank, a dark blue spiral appeared under me. I touched it and was sucked into it, feeling it pull me somewhere else as I went limp and closed my eyes.

End of dream...

I sat up in my bed with a cold sweat, breathing hard as I'd been holding it for ages. I looked around and noticed the all too familiar sight around me. I was in the last place I had remembered, Earth, 2012.

"Mesha!" Someone yelled

I turned around and saw the familiar raven haired boy I worked with. His dark brown eyed glimmered brightly in the sun as he ran towards the field of campus.

"Oh hey Kuroo." I answered

I walked towards him calmly, thinking about my life prior to getting stuck in this world.

"Come on! We have an adventures worth of cleanup and practice in an hour!"
"Right. Let's go."

I followed him as we ran towards the gym while I looked out into the horizon.

"Don't worry Lumine... I'll get back somehow."
