Marinettes Pov
We finally made our way to the wine tasting event, Ayla was beyond excited, she could barely stay still, as we finally made it to our table I excitedly sat down and of course they put me by him.
"So Adrein has Mari been giving u a hard time?"
"AYLA" I yelled, making everyone turn their heads towards us
"No, she has actually been very interesting to work with" adrein said
"Good. Just making sure she loves to give people are hard time," Ayla said laughing
"So Mari, how was college," she asked
"It was gre-" I was interrupted by the waiter coming up to us.
"Here is your first wine to taste tonight," he said
"Thank you," we all said at the same time
"Ok Mari, you were about to say what again?"
"Oh yeah, college was really great I made some very interesting friends, I went to some parties, well whenever I could,"
"So Adrein what were you wanting to do?" Nino asked
"I actually wanted to be-"
I kinda zoned out while Nino and Adrein were talking to each other, but I couldn't help but notice the people around pointing at Adrein and whispering to each other, they all had disgusted looks on their face, I then looked back at him and couldn't help but smile that's when I noticed Ayla staring at me.
Aylas Pov
I looked up from tasting my wine when I noticed Marinette was looking at Adrein and smiling oh I so am going to give her a hard time I thought so I looked at her and smirk finally she looked at me and noticed, then she gave me a confused look.
Marinettes Pov
I don't know what Ayla is doing, I gave her a confused look as to why she was smirking at me, the she looked at Adrein and then back to me, I finally caught, I couldn't help but yell "AYLA NO!" As I was waving my hands in front of my face trying to cover the embarrassment.
Nino and Adrein stopped their conversation to stare at us in confusion, I just looked at them and shrugged, I'm glad these guys are oblivious, or this would have been embarrassing.
As the hours went by we all started to feel a buzz from all the wine I thought I could get information off of him but all he did was make those stupid but Interesting no just stupid cat puns, god he reminds me so much of that stupid cat, I couldn't help but laugh out loud to my own thought which made Ayla, Nino, and Adrein look at me weird.
*An hour later*
"Goodnight girl and goodnight Adrien,"
"Goodnight dude, goodnight dudette"
"Goodnight Guys," Adrein and I both said at the same time
"So do you need me to walk you home?"
"You can if you want,"
"Well good because I wasn't going to let you walk home by yourself, your parents would kill me" he said, I couldn't help but laugh at his comment
"What's so funny?"
"N-nothing" ew why did I stutter I never stutter.
After what felt like forever we finally made it to the bakery "thank you, for walking me home."
"Your welcome," he said all drowsy
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight, to you too," I said
