So again, thank you so much and I hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the story! <3

The boys spent the rest of the month together all of the time. Whether it be walking to and from classes, eating together, or studying late at night, they were inseparable.

And through it all, they began to flirt like they never had before, which was somewhat true.

But as May began, the school dropped into a sad state.

It was now a year since the Battle of Hogwarts. A year since the people they loved had died. A year since Voldemort had been defeated.

Draco was hit by this especially, remembering that just less than a year ago he had been on the bad side, he had been everyone's enemy.

Harry reminded him that he had changed. That he was his friend, they were good, but not much helped when everyone was sending him glares in the hallways.

The 2nd of May was a rough day for the students. They were allowed the day off of classes, but morale was still low.

One student, a Hufflepuff, had the idea to have a party in memory of all that had happened last year.

"They wouldn't want us to mope around all day," She pointed out during lunch. "They'd want us to celebrate our victory."

So that day, around four o'clock, most of the school gathered in the Room of Requirements, which had formed into a large party room, to celebrate.

Harry had dragged Draco along, although Draco was hesitant to go.

"Show them how you've changed. It'll be okay." Harry told him, pulling him through the hallways.

Once there, no one seemed to care. They had drinks, music, and flashy lights. They were drunkenly dancing and singing along to the music.

There were couches and chairs scattered around the edges of the room, a large rug in the middle that was being used as a dance floor.

Harry made his rounds, followed closely by Draco who was shyly saying hi to everyone around him. Like a child following their parents around at a party, Draco followed Harry until finally, they made it to the drink table. With a drink in his system and the second one in his hand, Draco loosened up and became more comfortable. Although he still clung to Harry, but now for different reasons.

Needless to say, both boys got drunk.

By the end of the night, both Harry and Draco were sitting on one of the couches. Their legs were draped over each other as they laughed and chatted with anyone who came their way.

Draco had a cup in one hand, and his other resting on Harry's leg. His thumb was running over the fabric of Harry's jeans in small circles while he talked and laughed with the people around them.

Draco had gotten over his fear of being hated after a few drinks. The past was in the past and everyone was moving on. He had made his amends.

And hey, if Ron and Harry could forgive him, so could everyone else.

Later on, as people began to leave for the night, Draco pulled Harry closer and rested his head on the other boy's shoulder. Harry hesitantly rested his head on top of Draco's and soon relaxed.
