I woke up on Friday morning. It was the 12th. I was going to go to Hi5 Studios. I turned over and checked the time. It was 4 o' clock. Not the earliest I've woken up, but way earlier than I needed to. Sam said we didn't have to leave until 8.

I flopped back onto my back and snuggled into the blanket, trying to sleep. But I couldn't.

Stupid jet lag.

It took an hour, but I finally fell back asleep. Then, my alarm went off at 7:00. I threw my blanket off, knowing I'd fall back asleep if I didn't. I got out of bed and started getting ready for the day.

In my "A Day in the Life of Me" video, I said that when I go places early in the morning, I wake up at least an hour before. Some of my subscribers thought it was weird, but I didn't care. I liked to be able to get ready without rushing.

After brushing my teeth, I turned on the tv as background noise. I made my bed, brushed my hair, and got dressed. I had chosen my clothes the night before as I didn't want to spend an hour choosing my outfit this morning.

I chose some ripped jeans, a gray T-shirt with the phrase "Seize the Day" from the Broadway musical Newsies printed on it, and my favorite blue and purple flannel. I paired the outfit with my gray ankle boots and my silver cross necklace.

After getting dressed, I dragged the desk chair into the bathroom and began to work on my hair. I decided to do two Dutch braids starting at my forehead and going down my temple. I loved the way it looked on me. I tied my braids off with two black hair ties and began on my makeup.

I never used concealer, I just use foundation on areas I need to cover, such as under my eyes and on pimples or sunburn. Thankfully, I had neither. I continued with my makeup routine. I used my eyeshadow as eyeliner because I cannot do liquid eyeliner to save my life. Plus, that way, I had a wide variety of colors. I used a dark blue as eyeliner and a light shimmery shadow on my lids for a bit of pop. I finished with a neutral pink lipgloss.

I stood from the chair and dragged it back to the desk. I took one more look in the mirror before walking out of the room with a huge smile. When I walked out, Sam was making breakfast.

"Morning Sam, where's Ryan?" I asked.

"Good morning, Sarah. He had some things to do today. In the mean time, I made eggs and toast!" Sam replied, showing me the pan of eggs she had.

I smiled and sat down at the table as Sam brought two plates of eggs and toast. We chatted a bit while we ate. The more we talked, the more excited I got. Samantha Fekete, a YouTuber I'd been watching for years and admired for so long, was not only sitting in front of me, but was also my friend!

After we finished eating, we put our dishes in the sink and headed to the studio. The whole ride there, I was mentally screaming. I am going to Hi5 Studios!

We pulled up and into the parking lot. The moment I saw the building, I let out a tiny squeal. Sam giggled and parked the car. I climbed out, took a breath, and followed Sam inside. It was so strange and surreal to be there. I knew exactly where almost everything was, even though I had never stepped foot into the building.

Kevin was sitting at the front desk. When he looked up, he smiled and said, "Hey, Samantha!" He saw me and added, "Who's this?"

"This is Sarah Crawford. She's here to do a collab with Ryan and I."

"Sarah Crawford, as in, Sarah's World Official?" Kevin asked, smiling at me.

I smiled back. "Yes, that's me. And you're Kevin, right?"

"Yeah. It's nice to meet you, Sarah." He reached over the desk wall and shook my hand.

"It's nice to meet you, too."
