It's October 16th. I woke up excited and energized. Over the past week, Sam, Ryan and I were able to film a video for their channel. They had just recently started their channel, but they already had loads of followers.
I got dressed and ready for the day. Sam and I were going to go to the office and do a video with Matt. I had been watching his videos for a couple years, and I had seen the Key Series videos. It was crazy what was happening. I hoped this would be a more chill video.
When we got into the studio, we were greeted by Kevin and Matt.
"Hey guys!" Matt said, holding up a camera. "I'm about to start filming. Are you ready for today?"
"Not really," Sam mumbled, walking upstairs. I followed her up and tossed my bag into the chair. I double checked my phone was in my pocket and went back downstairs to hear Matt talking to Woods.
"You didn't nap in those." Woods said with a mouthful of food.
"Yes I did," Matt countered, "They recline, bro!"
"Who wouldn't sleep in those?" I said as Woods just shrugged.
"Hey, Sarah!" Matt exclaimed, pointing the camera at me. "Hey guys, this is Sarah from Sarah's World Official. Check out her channel, she's got some great content!"
I struck a quirky pose and let out a laugh.
"Whatcha two doin'?" I asked, jumping down the rest of the steps.
"We are going to get the metal zip ties." Matt said, turning to the door.
"Can I come with?" I asked.
"Sure!" Woods said, waving his hand as they walked to the door.
I jogged over to them and we got into Matt's Tesla. After some driving, we arrived at AutoZone and searched for the zip ties, to no avail. We found some hose clamps since Matt didn't want to leave empty handed. We refused to give up just yet, so we went to Lowe's. Just as last time, they were all sold out. We grabbed another packet of- as Woods called it- "scrap metal".
As we walked out, Matt was telling the viewers that he asked Izzy if we had any metal zip ties at the office. I then had a obvious thought.
"Why can't we just order some online?" I asked, "That way we can find exactly what we're looking for."
"They wouldn't get here soon enough," Matt said.
"Why didn't we order some, like, a week ago? So they'd be here now?" After a few seconds of silence, I replied quietly with, "You didn't think of that, did you?" More silence, then a couple slightly awkward laughs.
"No, we didn't think of that," Woods said, sounding disappointed.
On the way back, Woods and I saw an Italian ice stand.
"Matt, please!" I cried, giving him no content.
"What?" He asked, perplexed as Woods pointed the stand out.
"Just get me something that's not, like, hipster," Matt said as Woods and I climbed out.
"It's Italian ice, it's all hipster, bro." Woods said.
Woods and I got some Italian ice, watermelon and lemon for Woods and Matt, and pineapple for me. What? I like pineapple Italian ice. Sue me.
We got back in the car and Matt and Woods picked which ones they wanted. Woods took watermelon and Matt took lemon.
When we got back to Hi5, Kevin looked at our Italian ices and said, "The problem is I don't see a fourth one for me."
"Sorry, we didn't have many hands," Matt said.
