Chapter Twenty Eight: Always with you

“I’m going to miss you, come back here please.” The boy shredded tears as hiraya gave her tissues. “Calm down beomgyu, you might not be able to breathe.”

“Don’t worry beom, I'll come back. I promise!” She raised her hand and hugged the boy who was always with him through highs and lows.

“Let’s go before you get late to your flight.” Sunghoon, on the other hand, grabbed her bags and placed them to the car.

“Right, let's go.” She muttered, this was hard to be honest. Leaving everyone behind, who knows if she could come back in a blink of an eye?

It was a quiet ride to the airport, the music was the only one lifting up the down atmosphere. “Hiraya.” Sunghoon called, it was the only two of them awake, beomgyu fell asleep from crying.

“Yeah?” sunghoon gripped tight to the steering wheel and sighed. “Are you really going to be okay?”

Hiraya looked to him and showed him a assuring smile. “Don’t worry, I'm going to be fine. besides, I'm never alone.”

“Call me whenever you need anything, okay?” she nodded and then it was back to the same old awkward air.

They all arrived to their destination, the airport. “beomgyu, wake up.” she whispered, the boy slowly opened his eyes and went out of the car.

Heeseung ran to hiraya and looked at sunghoon. ”Hey, need help?” sunghoon shooked his head, “no, I can do this.”

Departure

“Stay safe always.” A last goodbye hug from Hiraya's bestfriend beomgyu was seen. Before going in, sunghoon held Hiraya's hand.

“Hiraya. .” The girl stayed for awhile to wait for the word he'd say. “Nothing, I'm always here.” he smiled.

Then they went together, it sure was a heavy goodbye. no one wanted each other to leave, everyone had smiles mixed with sadness.

“Let me know if you need anything.” heeseung who took his airpods and placed one on Hiraya's ear.

She was shocked at first but felt relaxed with the music he was playing.

Later on, they both fell asleep.

When they arrived at the Philippines, heeseung was still asleep so hiraya had to wake him up. “Heeseung, we're here.” She gently shaked him and his eyes opened.

“Oh, I fell asleep. Let's get going hiraya.” They got their bags and went out, hiraya didn't expect her mom to be at the airport.

She was happy, a hug from a mother is always the best. “Mom, I missed you so much.” She cried but tears of joy.

Hiraya's mom held her cheeks and wiped her tears. “I’m sure you've got a lot to tell me, let's go home so you can rest.”

She turned back and called heeseung, he was shy and couldn't even bother to look at Hiraya's mom.

“Oh, you brought a friend?” She nodded and went to heeseung to introduce him to her mom.

“Come on, it's just my mom.” she whispered to his ears. unexpectedly, she held his hands and went to her mom.

“Mom, this is heeseung. He's my friend from korea.” Heeseung bowed and shaked hands with Hiraya's mom.

“Nice to meet you heeseung.”

The ride to home was quiet, hiraya sure did missed the Philippines, the food and the jolly atmosphere despite the troubles they've been experiencing.
