*Harrison's POV*

We were walking through the hallways. And when I say we, I mean me and Valerie's friend. Sammy, I think it was. She was the reason I was drenched in yogurt. It did not feel too well; I felt stick all over.

I looked to my side and saw that Sammy didn't have that much yogurt on her unlike me. I gave a long sigh feeling like this was another awkward situation that I never signed up to be a part of.

Sammy turned over to look at me. She was staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

She giggled. "I'm sorry, I can't help but laugh at how pathetic you look."

"Wow, thanks. I was totally not offended."

How rude was she? Telling me I look pathetic. She's pathetic for telling me that.

"I didn't finish what I was saying," said Sammy obviously noticing my sarcasm.

"I was saying that you looked pathetic. Then I was going to say that since I'm next to you, I just lowered your 'cool kid' credibility. Obviously I'm more pathetic than you."

I looked at her for a moment, kind of shocked as to what she said. How could she think I'm cool?

"I'm not cool," I said to her.

"Yeah, looking at you, you're not that cool. But any type of fondness you get from anyone could lessen if they see you with me."

"But why?"

"Because," Sammy paused.

Her eyes drifted off into space. I'm not sure if she still remembers I'm here. All of a sudden, I notice her eyes watering. Was it because of the answer she was going to give me? Did I remind her of some sort of bad memory?

"Hey," I asked her.

"Are you alright?"

Sammy looked up at me. Her hair was covering her face. She removed the long, dyed waves away from her face and put her hair in a ponytail. Her eyes, from what I had see before, were a brown. Now, with the tears, she had a hazel color with a dash of green in it. They were pretty eyes. Her eyes may be tiny, but those Asian features made her look so innocent.

Her face was slim and she had small lips. She gave a small smile. It reminded me of Elizabeth. I can't get over that girl. I don't think I ever will. There's not a day that goes by where I can't think clearly and I just go through an existential crisis. I still miss her. But I can't let her interfere with my mind. I let my mind focus back towards Sammy.

"Oh, I'm fine," said Sammy.

"I just got yogurt in my eye and it's just really hurting. My eyes are kind of sensitive."

I gave a look of concern for her. Sammy quickly replied back.

"I'm fine. Don't worry, Harrison. I will survive!"

She smiled at me. I couldn't help but look away. But wait- she knows my name!

"How on earth do you know my name?"

I quickly covered up my mouth. Not only was I supposed to be saying that in my head but I also realized that I've said my name a few times before in class. Wow, I'm so stupid.

"No, it's okay. It's just that one, you have introduced yourself in class a few times. Also, Valerie has told me a little bit about you." Sammy laughed.

Oh great. Now, this girl probably thinks I'm insane. It always seems as if Valerie tries to split me up between all of her friends, before I even introduce myself. She always claims that we just recently met but I've known her for the longest time.

I still remember how she pooped in her pants one time at school. Ahhhhhh. What a wonderful time to live! Of course, this was when we were 4 but, it's still funny.

"Has Valerie told you about the time where I-" Sammy cut me off.

"Listen, don't worry about it! Don't say anything or else I might learn a lot more than I should." Sammy was smiling at me.

I laughed a little then looked at her.

"I guess you're right Sammy."

Suddenly, Sammy wasn't smiling. She stared at me with no emotion.

"Don't call me Sammy." She mumbled.

"What?" I asked. I couldn't hear her.

"Don't call me Sammy. I hate it when people call me Sammy. My name is Samantha not Sammy."

"I'm sorry. I just didn't know your name and I heard Valerie call you Sammy so-" Samantha cut me off.

"Let's not talk about it no more. It's none of your fault. That name- Valerie is the only one who is allowed to call me that for reasons that I don't want to explain. Just don't call me that no more."

I stared at her for a moment and nodded my head. I continued walking straight ahead to the nurse. Why were girls so insensitive about the littlest things like their own name? Samantha was by my side with the sound of her boots being the only sound in the hallway.

Hey everyone!
I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I will, for sure, be posting every Wednesday and on the weekends if I have time. How did you like hearing Harrison's point of view? I was going to continue this chapter with Samantha's POV but I felt like it was better to make her into another chapter. It would be nice if you could vote for this story and give me some feedback. It would really make my day. I hope you have a great day!
