3 weeks later and everything was almost right in the world. Meredith, Lexie and I are sisters again. Cristina is still depressed but she's not evil towards us anymore and I still have stupid bulimia. Yay!
Meredith called me in at 12am and I rushed to the hospital.
"You know I can't drive right?" I asked as I put my hair into a bun.
"Yeah, you're 13."
"You made me leave my hotel at 12am in the morning when I could be kidnapped. Best big sister ever." She smiled and ruffled my hair.
"Oh come on!" I put my hair down again and into another bun. She gave me a folder and I looked at each paper inside.
"Every page goes in every set of documents. Miss one and you're on scut for a month. These are the most promising set of trial patients yet and I don't want any mistakes."
"Best sister ever." I smiled sweetly at her and she ruffled my hair. "I hate you." I let it be as I sorted through the documents.
"Where were you last night?" I heard Izzie come up from behind me and she started fixing my hair.
"Thank God for you." I felt her separate my hair into two and start braiding it.
"I had to stay with Cristina. She needed me."
"Oh that's so nice. But Rebecca's at the house and I needed you."
"Apparently she's crazy." George laughed.
"George, we've had this discussion and we've decided that it's not appropriate to call Izzie crazy. She's spirited." Meredith said as Izzie finished the left part of my hair and started on the right.
"Spirited!" George sarcastically repeated.
"Yeah, not me! I'm not crazy. Rebecca's crazy and Alex is pretending she's not. It's-" Izzie was interrupted by Dr. Yang's arrival.
"Helloooo." She greeted and I became concerned for her sanity. Izzie finished up the right side of my hair and patted my head.
"Thank you so much." Izzie just smiled at me.
"I-I was just helping Meredith collate. I'm on my way to check on your patients." Lexie said and we started walking away quickly.
"That's fine. Take your time." She smiled as we left.
"What's going on with her?" I looked back in suprise.
"I don't want to know. Okay I'll take 5, you take 4 and we'll meet back here when we're done." She handed me 4 charts and I nodded my head. Once I was done, I went back to meet up with Lexie who was still not yet there.
"Lizzie, there you are!" I turned around and saw Callie walking towards me.
"Callie, how are you?" I hugged her and she hugged me back really tightly.
"Oh you know just the usual." She was hiding something but I didn't want to pry. "How about you? Are you doing okay?"
Oh yeah I just suffer from bulimia now because I wanted to become the type of girl that my crush likes. Totally fine.
Instead I said, "Well, it's 12am, Meredith paged me to help her with her clinical trial and if any of my sisters see a coffee cup in my hand, they'll take it for themselves and say I'm too young for coffee. I'm a little sleepy but I'll get over it."
Callie's pager beeped and she went to go check it. "Sorry."
"No it's fine. Duty calls." I smiled politely.
