[Third POV]
About half an hour later, the door to the manor opened. Tim had changed into his regular clothes no matter how tired he was after his mission with the Teen Titans. It was a rough night, and all he wanted right now, was a drink.
With caffeine of course.
He went straight to the kitchen and sat on a chair, laying his head on the surface of the kitchen island.
"Here" a voice said, handing him a cup of coffee.
"Thanks Alfred...-EHH?" he almost fell back as soon as he realized it wasn't Alfred in the kitchen.
"Heard you liked coffee a lot" he saw (Y/N) say to him.
"(Y/N)?" His eyes were filled with bewilderment. Gaping, he whispered, "Is-Is this real? This isn't another one of my dreams, right?" He blinked twice.
"Nope. I'm back" (Y/N) replied with a small smile as she walked around the kitchen island to him.
"And, you're alive!" Tim blurted out, wrapping his arms around her, confirming that she indeed was real.
"I can say the same thing about you"
He chuckled, "Didn't I promise you I would still be breathing the day you returned?"
She couldn't believe how tall he's grown. He wasn't the little kid he once was. Instead of a 13 year-old, he looked to be 17 or 18. She spent some time speaking with him and catching up on what she missed. There was a lot he wanted to tell her. She was like a big sister to him before she left the house.
While she was gone, he took time to clean her room with Alfred. As proof, Alfred showed her that he kept his promise and that her room remained untouched. It was exactly like how she left it, except cleaner. Afterwards, he offered her to stay at the manor, but she declined. Not only did she need time to think about it, she was also staying at a hotel with Lina.
She said her goodbyes for now and left the manor. It was nice to see everyone, and she hoped to see Dick soon too. At the nearest park, she took a seat there, and watched as the children played while thoughts roamed her mind. She was planning to quietly stay seated on the bench, until...
"Hey!"
"Hey! Over here!"
"Hellooo!!"
She soon realized that the voice seemed to be directed towards her. Through the mist of shouts, laughter, and conversations, she found where it came from. In the swing area, was a little boy holding a swing who was waving to her.
"Can you push me?!"
(Y/N) pointed to herself with a raised eyebrow. The boy nodded, confirming that he was talking to her. Still in a state of confusion, she walked over to where he was.
"You've got some nerve to ask a random stranger. What if you asked the wrong person?"
"Well mommy is in the bathroom and you seemed lonely and bored" he shurgged, "Plus, you don't look like a bad person either" he innocently smiled.
'You only say that because you don't know me' She said to herself in her head, but pushed the thought away.
She found herself pushing him on the swing. He was yelling for her to go higher, but she didn't push him as hard or else he would've fallen. Minutes later, his mother came back.

FanfictionLove may seem like a really complicated term depending on the person who seeks it. It can be pretty like a scene from a fairytale, but it can be the very weapon that can kill you emotionally, and (Y/N) has learned that the hard way. She searched for...
