Chapter 5 - Vigilante

"I will not help if it turns out that he is a vigilante, only after two years will I help," was the last thing Eraser said before walking out the door and back outside to finish his patrolling.

This was all the beginning for the young vigilante. After two years Eraser's life will change with trying to catch the new vigilante now known as Akio.

Four years after that first encounter, the vigilante known as Akio has been helping on the side of the city that heroes almost never go to. Eraserhead has been searching for the last two years for this mysterious vigilante. He hasn't even seen a glimpse of the said person. The people that need help never give anything away, only the name Akio.

Izumi was walking to the apartment that she lives in from the store, hood up and a medical mask on. She tries to avoid any contact with strangers as best as possible. Thinking to herself, she wonders how Kacchan is doing. This should be his last year in lower secondary school.

Almost to her apartment she ends up hearing sirens. Looking over her shoulder she sees police cars zoom by. Curious, she runs to the apartment, quickly puts the groceries away and runs back out the door. Listening to all the chaos, she runs towards it. With people running the opposite way. Looking up there was a huge fire and a huge fire looking guy.

Quickly analyzing the situation she runs into an alleyway. Grabs her mask, that she carries with her now, sets her backpack down behind a dumpster, and gets up on top of the roof. Running from roof to roof she gets closer and closer. Heroes all over the ground trying to stop the said quirk user. Looking back at the building on fire she sees a few people stuck inside. Not even thinking about it, Izumi jumps from the roof she is on and into the burning building.

"Come here!" Izumi yells to the kids hiding in a corner. The three of them look at her and run straight to her. Fear evident in their eyes and the fire getting stronger Izumi wraps her arms around them and jumps out the window. Falling to the ground from the fourth floor of a burning building was not the best idea but it was the quickest thing Izumi came up with. Right before she landed someone with strong arms manages to grab them and lower the four to the ground.

While in pursuit of the three kids, the heroes had gotten the fire guy down. Letting go of the three kids, they all run to their mother, Izumi presumes. "That was a brave stunt little bird," Izumi looks back at the one who broke her fall and her eyes widen, Hawks, number two hero. Now known as Hawks, he turns his head to look at the one called 'little bird'. "Hey, that's a lot of burns, you okay?" he asks to the, he can only presume, little kid. The black mask, black sweatshirt, black skintight pants, with grey shoes, then his little bird brain started to think. Now that's not a normal outfit.

"I am fine, thank you though" Izumi managed to get out calmly even though she was freaking out on the inside, "if you would please excuse me, I need to go." Izumi turns around and starts to run away, she forgot that it was daytime, all she cared about was that people were not okay and getting hurt. Izumi just couldn't not help.

"H-hey!" Hawks watches the little bird leave, sweatshirt clearly had a few holes with new burns on the skin. Piquing his interest he decided to follow the little bird. "Wait up!" he catches up, he isn't the fastest known for a reason. "What's ur name, little bird?" Hawks asks, oblivious of the tension in the air.

Izumi, not wanting to deal with the number three hero, runs up onto the rooftops. Trying to get away but miserably failing. She stops and turns around to see Hawks still following her. Sighing, Izumi decides to answer him, maybe he will leave. "The names Akio, now will you stop following me?"
