Recap
The young child in front of him froze up. That gave all the signs the two adults needed. It was confirmed. This kid was being abused.
Izumi couldn't think at that point, the only thought that ran through her mind was that she was in so much trouble.
Izumi's breath sped up. It was getting harder to breathe. Thinking about Madam Inko, being gone for days, and people finding out she was abused. Not good. Not good at all.
The two adults in front of her stared. Aizawa, being the first to realize what was happening, got closer to the young girl and stared rubbing circles on her back. He whispered things like, "It's going to be okay" or "You're safe" to her.
Minutes later, Izumi managed to breathe normally and stopped crying. The blood on her face got wet from the tears, the white sheet and white hospital clothes started to turn a pink-red color.
The face that could be seen was tear stained and blood stained. Not the best sight to see. Aizawa looked at Tsukauchi, making eye contact, the detective sighed. He knew exactly what the hobo hero wanted.
Izumi looked at the detective then at the hero. Shaking her head she looked up, "I need to get going." She needed to get home. She needed to get to Madam Inko otherwise it would be all Hell for her.
Aizawa looked at her, hand still on her back. He decided. "You can leave, but," Izumi turned and looked at him, "I am coming with you."
Izumi paled. He would find out who she was. That cannot happen. She shook her head no abruptly.
Aizawa stared at the girl. "You still have pretty severe wounds, you cannot leave unless you have someone with you," he stated; it was not an option to leave by herself. Izumi sighed looking back down at the pink stained sheet, gripping it hard. Her thoughts running wild.
Wounds? She felt pain but it was not bad. She had always healed rather quickly though it was only noticeable if the injury was bad. "I heal quickly, I'll be fine," Izumi would leave no matter what. She had to get back to that place she should call 'home'.
Aizawa sighed, "Then stay," was all that came out. He wanted to watch her. She needed to be fine. She practically gave him a heart attack when she was bleeding to death before.
Detective Tsukauchi had no say in what was happening in front of him. The two were slowly arguing, the hobo wanting to be with the kid and the kid wanting to leave. He groaned, he wanted to leave.
Looking back at the two he decided. "You stay here for a day, then you can leave, but you need to keep this with you at all times and when someone calls you answer." He handed the vigilante his phone, he could get a new one later. He didn't have a password on it so it would be fine for her to take.
Aizawa stared at the detective when he handed the kid his phone. Aizawa sighed, again. He didn't want her to leave, this problem child would get into a lot of trouble again, he knew this, he felt it.
Izumi slowly took the phone from the man in front of her. It was so nice. She had no right to take something as nice as this. "I can't take it, this is too expensive, what if I break it? I can't pay for it..." and then she ended up on a muttering spree.
While Izumi tried to figure out what to do if she broke the phone and had to get money to return it, the two adults looked at each other worried. Any normal kid would have been so happy to have another phone, saying that they had one to begin with.
