Chapter 11 - Caught?

Hobo man noticed her panicked expression and pulled her towards him and hugged her, "It's alright, I'm here." That was all she needed, then Izumi started to ball her eyes out.

The two sat there for quite a while that night, Aizawa trying to comfort the girl, and Izumi just letting out what was bottled up for so long.

Hours went by. The two sat on the roof, Akio crying while clenching Eraser's shirt. Aizawa never moved, he slowly rubbed the small child's back.

She looked terrible. Her clothes were tattered and blood was everywhere, yet she didn't seem to notice the pain too much.

Aizawa wanted to get her to the hospital as soon as possible, but if he's learned anything, he knew he had to wait till she was asleep.

The moon was high in the sky, while a red-winged man flew over the city. He was bored. Hawks didn't want to go back to the hero building, (is that what it's called?).

While flying, he noticed two figures sitting on a roof. A tall roof at that. Feeling a little concerned he flew down.

Izumi felt better after crying for so long. It got some of the weight off of her shoulders.

Sitting up properly, she looked Eraser in the eyes, "thanks." It came out small and like a whisper, but he heard it. She knew he did.

Before Aizawa could respond a gust of wind blew by and someone landed near them. Looking over, Izumi recognized him right away. Hawks.

Panic once again started to set in until she remembered she didn't have her suit on. She wouldn't get recognized again, hopefully.

"Is everything alright?" Hawks walked over to them. He was worried, he saw blood everywhere and the small green-haired girl clearly had puffy eyes from crying.

Once again before Aizawa could speak, Izumi looked away from Hawks, "Everything's fine, if you two would excuse me, I need to go."

Getting up, Izumi turns and starts to walk to the fire escape, but of course, leaving was not an option apparently.

Aizawa could not get a word in it seemed. After Akio stood up, he did as well. But he would not let her leave without going to the hospital first.

Using his capture weapon, again, he catches Akio before she gets to the edge of the roof to the fire escape.

"First off, you need to go to the hospital," Eraser stated matter-of-factly. Sighing, Izumi turned around, or more like waddled around since she was tied up, again.

During this whole process, Hawks had been thinking he had heard that phrase before. 'Everything's fine, if you two would excuse me, I need to go'. He swears he's heard that from a similar voice.

"Ah!" he yelled, getting the attention of the other two. "Akio said the same thing! Are you him?! Er, I mean her?" Hawks got out smiling, his eyes were practically shining in excitement.

If you do not remember the phrase here's a quick recap:

Now known as Hawks, he turns his head to look at the one called 'little bird'. "Hey, that's a lot of burns, you okay?" he asks to the, he can only presume, little kid. The black mask, black sweatshirt, black skintight pants, with grey shoes, then his little bird brain started to think. Now that's not a normal outfit.

"I am fine, thank you though" Izumi managed to get out calmly even though she was freaking out on the inside, "if you would please excuse me, I need to go." Izumi turns around and starts to run away, she forgot that it was daytime, all she cared about was that people were not okay and getting hurt. Izumi just couldn't not help.

That is from chapter 5 if you can't remember.

Akio sighed, again. "So are you guys going to turn me in or what?" She stared at the two, if anything, going to prison would be a lot better than going back to Madam Inko.

"So I was right!" Hawks screamed out, super happy. He had been looking for her for a while, ever since that villain incident but hadn't successfully found her, yet here she was.

Aizawa stared at her, she looks too young to go to prison, he thought. But, he thought, she's a smart girl, Nezu. The funky satan on UA popped into his mind.

"You won't be going to prison or jail, or anything of the sort," the hobo said to the small child. This brought a confused look to Akio, "For now we need to get you to the hospital."

Hawks, finally remembering that she was extremely hurt, picked the two up and flew them to the hospital.

Hours later of bandaging and stitching, Izumi sat on a hospital bed again. Staring out the window, Aizawa and Hawks walked in.

Hawks stared at the small girl in front of him. Small and pale, long green hair, thin but clearly has muscles.

INTERMISSION

Just for my convenience, I am making Hawks be 18-ish. I don't want this to be weird or anything, cause that sentence made it sound like he was a pedophile so hopefully making the age gap smaller is better. So just so you know. Izumi is 15 if you forgot, so it makes a three-year difference.

Izumi turned her head to look at the two. She felt another person in the room. But who?

Out of nowhere, the rat king himself popped out of Eraser's capture weapon.

"Hello!" Nezu spoke to Akio, he heard from the nurses that the wounds she had were clearly inflicted by another person, and he was not happy by that at all. Why the protectiveness? He was finding small bits and pieces of who she was for a while and found her extremely interesting so he would not let anyone mess with something that interests him.

"What are you doing with me," Izumi could not wait to get put somewhere, anywhere other than with Madam Inko.

Nezu looked at her, excited, "How would you like to join UA?"

Thanks for reading! This was a weird chapter and I apologize for that, but it just kinda happened, sooooooo whatever. Anyway, I feel as though this is getting closer and closer to the end but at the same time, I think it's really far from it.
