Chapter 1 – Steel Talons and A New Threat

Ivan: "Sir, we may have a problem."

Eisenfaust: "Tell me."

(Paper sliding on table)
Ivan: "We identified the Terrorist who attacked the embassy 14 months ago."

Eisenfaust: "Elaborate."

Ivan: "They're possibly former Reunion forces. Led by Dianna Kürtchen. Satellites have detected activity in a wilderness area east of Ursus."

Eisenfaust: "Military base?"

Ivan: "No, more like an abandoned city of some sort."

Eisenfaust: "Can you confirm suspicious or hostile activity?"

Ivan: "We can confirm. Military vehicles posted up near the city and the results from a previous operation in Ursus."

Eisenfaust: "How did they got unnoticed?"
Ivan: "The intel from the previous operation discovered underground tunnels and a Convoy of a weapon of some sort."

Eisenfaust: "A weapon?"

Ivan: "We don't know high threat level. Mass production of this weapon is detected, because the convoy number in the data."

Eisenfaust: "Tell me more about the resistance."

Ivan: "90km from the city is the estimated territory of the enemy forces. Abandoned cities on these area, 2 seaports, and an abandoned airport occupied by hostiles."
Eisenfaust: "Not yet an enemy, Ivan. The word hostile is not used until we engage. Anyways, how do you estimate these territories?"

Ivan: "Those tunnels stretch up to the outermost city, which is around 90km away from the city, near the Ursus border."

Eisenfaust: "Tell me more."

Ivan: "Possible military production in the ports and abandoned airport, with defenses scattered everywhere, from Surface to air missiles to Cruise missile launchers. Tanks are possibly produced on these tunnels, meaning the convoy will be on open ground, or in another tunnel system."

Eisenfaust: "How do you detect these tunnels?"

Ivan: "Satellite deep scanning systems can detect caves near the ground."

Eisenfaust: "Keep doing your work, I will go outside and talk to people. Until you find details, I will not inform this as a dangerous situation."

Ivan: "Yes sir!"

Newark is a nomadic city, bought by Eisenfaust using the money he got from the rescue missions Athena did. Though it was small, it is not small enough to be a landship. He uses it as the central base of operations and Headquarters for Steel Talons. Even though it's a city, it is only a military base. Steel Talons got its name from its creator, Eisenfaust von Schmidt. Eisenfaust means Iron Fist in German, as for the word Talon; it comes from the claw of an eagle, as his past life is living with a hunter. Steel Talons consists of rank divisions, Athena is a group that fights terrorism, it consists of 7 engineers and 36 soldiers, most of them are either retired military gunsmiths or a trainee/rookie thrown away from the army of other nations. Athena is well known for their mission to rescue Yenwu from the embassy he visited.
