Alex
After hanging out at home for a bit, I got hungry so I decided that I could go get some food. As I walked in the cool night with my dark black hair blowing in the wind. I couldn't get Monti out of my mind. She was with that guy, it makes me so mad! I hate the way he looks at her. Call me jealous but I just don't care for the guy. As I was walking I heard a fire truck police and an ambulance. I turned my attention to all the cominton. I was bored so I decided to follow my curiosity this time and walked towards the area.

I wasn't expecting a large crowd to be around, but hey I wasn't expecting a little brother.
"What happened here?" I asked a random memeber of the crowd.
"A girl," they whispered "A girl was In the old burning tree house. S-She got burned."
I shooked my head understanding that this person was uncomfortable around me. I walked up to the nearest ambulance and peeked my head through the little truck doors and I couldn't believe my eyes.
Monticello was in there.

I quickly got out my phone and dialed up her mom and told her what the crowd told me. She told me to meet her at the hospital.

I shook my head serval times as I walked towards the bus stop. I just can't get her out my mind. She could be seriously hurt. And if I wasn't so selfished I would've think she'd run away or do something dumb.

As I got to the hospital I rushed up towards her room. Not even stopping to open the door for an old lady. When I got to her room I yanked open the door to see balloons and Monti's mom sitting in the chair holding her hand.
"Mrs. Dale," I said softly called out "What's her condition?" She turned around and looked at me with sympathy.

"S-She has a concussion!" She said before busting into sobs. I didn't know what to do so I gave her a hug. She layed her head on my shoulder. "Alex, would you mind staying with her tonight? I have to go to work, I really need to do this." She said letting go of me.

"I wasn't going to leave anyway."I said smiling at her as she exited
I walked over to Monti and sat down next to her. She looked so helpless. I moved her hair from her face. I wish I wouldn't have been so blind, and saw that she really needed me. Lost in the moment I softly kissed her lips. She looked terrible. Her skin was much paler and her hair was a mess. Looking down on her made me relize, she was all I needed. A tear slid out of my eye.
I'd lost her.
