Interrogation

Izuku Midoriya woke up in a room with no decorations, a single door for entry, and a one way mirror in front of him. His head had been resting against a cheap metal table, and he currently sat in a single metal chair. His hands were cuffed together with quirk surpressant cuffs. These were far more durable and very difficult to get off... but pointless on the current. There were two more on the opposite side to him. With a painful headache, and a bit of dizzyness, he mused, Well, I guess this is where I'll stay for the moment. The door opened with a painfully loud noise, and two men entered the room. One was a man with long, unkempt black hair entered, alongside Allmight, fully muscled and ready to intimidate the vigilante if needed. Allmight... and based off of what I know, the other is Eraserhead... They both work at UA, so that tracks...

Eraserhead was first to speak, with his lazy, but clear words. It belied an intelligence that shouldn't be taken lightly. "Hello, Izuku Midoriya. We are in charge of this investigation. You do have the right to stay silent, and the right to an attourney. We're here to ask a few questions." Unfortunately, the way in which the room's acoustics functioned made them much louder than he normally would be... resulting in a harsher headache.

He waved it away, as if that would work, before agreeing wholeheartedly. "Fine... don't need my lawyer, but can you not shout? I've got a bit of a headache... I think Endeavour probably gave me a concussion..."
The scruffy, raven haired man nodded, with a quieter: "Very well."

"Can I ask a favor?" Izuku held up the quirk cancelling cuffs, and explained. "Can you take these off? You already know I'm quirkless, right?"
Allmight, this time, apologized straight up. "Sorry, but we couldn't take any chances, especially since you worked with the League of Villains."
That made him laugh. I mean, why wouldn't it? His quirklessness defined him, was a part of what made the Deathslinger who he was... the concept was absurd, and even the League never offered that as an option. "They couldn't give me a quirk, even if they tried. They don't have the capability..." But when the green haired boy looked at the two heroes, he noted they were completely serious. Clearing his throat, he continued, "I'm not with them. They hired me, and I gave that money to charities for those orphaned by hero and villain battles. Besides, I never met the big boss man in the TV."

Again, more silence from them. Probably organizing their thoughts, considering it probably reinforced what they knew about Shigaraki, while also adding a whole new slew of questions.

So, instead, Izuku set the topic of conversation. "I know you're struggling to keep that form up, Allmight."

That caught him off guard to such a degree that he nearly coughed blood. "Wha...?"
"Why else would I use the Redeemer on Shigaraki?"
Aizawa sighed, and gave a possible reason why. To be honest, the man had been knocked out during that time, and didn't quite know what he meant by 'use the Redeemer'. The heroes never entered his property, even though they had the warrant. Since he came peacefully, without a fight... the warrant voided itself, considering that they had all the evidence they needed. But Eraserhead's statement brought him back to the present. "To protect him in some twisted way?"
"To be honest, that was my excuse to him. But I knew you..." He gestured to Allmight, "...were on the brink of death. And I think he knew that too." Leaning back in the chair, he told them the unvarnished truth. "They didn't tell me the whole plan, that it was to kill you. I didn't want you to die. Y'know, I actually like you, as a hero. You're... genuine..."

The blond number one was nearly speechless... after all, it's not everyday when your enemy, or someone you consider a potenital enemy, gives you praise. Most of the time, he dealt with fear, hate, or a combo of the two. Not praise. "Thanks..."
The duo of heroes continued the interrogation for a while. Asking more questions, but found it far less informative compared to the answers Bakugo gave. Eventually, they reached the final question. "Why do you hate Endeavour?"
He nearly laughed at that, and then told them the truth. "Wouldn't you hate the person who killed your mother?"
Aizawa remained silent. He'd seen and heard enough, from all over, and that wasn't the worst he's heard. Pretty bad, but nothing horrendous. Meanwhile, Allmight was not as involved in that aspect of heroics. In his disbelief, he nearly shouted. "He did what?!"
And, the boy explained everything in clear detail. "My mother was a villain's hostage. Endeavour, in his infinite wisdom, decided to rush the villain. He threw her in Endeavour's way, and he punched a hole clean through her. I, and Aunty Mitsuki, were there. She... died in my arms." He started to tear up. Revisiting that memory was incredibly painful. Far more so than the boy was expecting. And it did move the other two, pulling at their heartstrings... even if one was good at hiding it.

That same man was the one to deliver the news. "Well... due to the circumstances of your arrest... you won't be going to jail. You were considered a suspect, but even then, you were beaten for following hero instructions. The public is completely on your side, considering that those you 'helped'..." The underground hero said that as if he didn't, "...advocated for you publically."
Izuku laughed, expecting that kind of outcome. He was more than happy to get arrested if it meant dragging Endeavour down. "He really hurt his own image, didn't he?"
The black haired man agreed with that sentiment, "A brilliant move, goading him into attacking like that... but we can't just let you get away. After all, you have killed people. And admit to doing so."

Izuku didn't take the bait. Plausable deniability and all of that. "Of course you can't."
However, a new voice spoke up, and a small creature popped out of Eraserhead's scarf, startling the boy... before he recognized him as the enigmatic intelligence 'hero', Nezu. Otherwise known as the principal of UA. The school he hates. "We'll allow you to come to UA, under the rehabilitation program. Even the hero course."
The greenette considered his options, before giving his response. "As much as I despise your policy... I will go. If I can prove to the world I can be a 'hero', even while being quirkless, then maybe they'll change. Or maybe I'll enjoy the horror your school board will have once they find out about me, who knows?"

Nezu smiled, a dangerous glint in his eyes. After all, they both had a reason to 'stick it to the upper management', "Then we are in agreement! We've all been wanting justification to change that, but they did claim would cause an uproar. Prove them wrong."

He grinned "Gladly."

After the interview, Aizawa drove him to UA from the police precinct, explaining how things operate at UA currently. Things had changed since then, after all. "UA has a dorm system now. You'll be under the supervision of Class 1A, my class. You will be limited to just the campus."
He nodded, seeing that the entire building was quiet. Apparently there was a celebration for completing midterms that the students were currently attending. Soon enough, they arrived at an empty room, or a mostly empty room. Wait, this is where they're sticking me? "Wait, is there even a bed in there?"
Aizawa snorted at that, glancing inside. "There will be a single cot in there. You can redecorate tomorrow."

Raising an eyebrow, the greenette asked a simple, but obvious question. "How am I supposed to get my stuff if I am stuck on campus?"
"Figure it out, I don't care. Also, rule number 1, don't call me Eraserhead when in class. Or any time, really, I can't have my personal appearance known to students outside the hero course. My name is Shota Aizawa."
He shrugged. Izuku didn't really care for the man's opinion. "Whatever, teach."
Turning, he spoke clearly, and stated the obvious. After all, he was a student here now. "Rest up. It will be an earlier day tomorrow."
