Exams...

Aizawa had brought them all together. He watched over them talk about what they'd heard from their peers in the other class. While information gathering is a part of the exam... their sources were unreliable. Class B had no real good reason to tell them it was robots, except for complacency reasons. Hagakure, Mineta, and Midoriya would've had trouble with those, maybe, but the rest? It would've been too easy. Not Plus Ultra. Idiots. They've become stagnant if they think that the test would be so straightforward. Catching their attention, the hero started to speak. "Right, so you've heard that the examinations are against robots... correct?" They nodded... well, most of them did. Midoriya narrowed his eyes, clearly seeing something amiss. He was always perceptive, compared to the rest of the other students, with Uraraka and Bakugo following his lead. After all, he noticed all the heroes behind him. So, Shota grinned as he explained, "However, this year's examinations will be a little different, due to the increase in villain activity." Nervous looks now lined their faces, and it appears that the vigilante of the class now fully understood what was going on. Acknowelding this, Aizawa nodded to the boy, "This is despite the impact you had, Midoriya. You will be split into pairs and we, the staff, will be your opponents." He had to silence the group as they started yelling in surprise... with the exception of Bakugo and Midoriya. They seemed... hungry for battle. Using his quirk, the teacher quieted them down. "Your goal is simple. You either capture us, who will be playing villains, or you will attempt to escape. Your teams have been automatically selected for you, same as the teacher you will go against. All I can tell you is... do your best."

Izuku was paired up with Toru Hagakure against Snipe. It was clear why, as Hagakure wouldn't be able to hide against this teacher, who could know where she was, and Izuku, due to a gunslinger's honor. He would have to prove which was the better shot. In the end, this was a calculated test which would not only put students together who didn't get along since the Izuku's Deathslinger reveal, as well as test Izuku's abilities. Hagakure, for the most part, was considered a social butterfly, next to Mina Ashido, and most likely to work with him. That proved how much the staff knew, Izuku thought bitterly. Even though he couldn't see her expression, the anger she felt was shown in her tense form... well, tense hands, as that was all he could really see in her costume. Sighing, Izuku decided to reach out, as the first order of business for the exam is to help their team at least focus on their joint priority. "Look, I understand that you don't like me, none of the class except Kacchan and Och..."

However, the girl's voice dripped with venom. "Don't say her name. You don't deserve to."
Looking at where he guessed her head was... all he asked was, "Why?"

Unrepentant, she even had the audacity to ask: "What?"

Izuku, at this point, was sick of them. He'd already gone off on them once, exposing his quirk status to do so, and now he was still hated. The green haired boy wanted answers. "Why does everyone hate me so much? We all got along before I told who I was."

"You attacked us at the USJ! You hurt so many people! Your first kill was Mina's uncle, who wasn't a villain or a hero!"

That made so much more sense. "So you're mad because I... killed the man who tried to sexually assault my aunt... is that it?"

She fumed, but was unable to retort that. After all, his statement didn't paint the man in a good light. Which made him believe he was right, hitting the nail directly on the head.

He sighed at that, annoyed. He looked directly at her head, unsure if he was meeting her eyes. Probably not. "Look, you have led a very blessed life. You still have your family. People don't hate you for things you couldn't ever control. Aunty Mitsuki was the closest person to family I've had in years. I had nothing, and only got into this school after I made a bunch of terrible decisions. I don't regret killing villains. They had it coming, and they expected to get away with their crimes. However..." He paused, making sure she was listening, "...attacking your class was one of my regrets. I've apologized for it again and again... yet none of you accept me. That doesn't really matter now, but you need to put your emotions aside if you want to pass the exam. We were paired up, and we can't get out of this. Will you try to pass the exam? Or will you drag us both down?" That last point was clear to the both of them. Pass together, or fall apart.
