The Trinity of the Rich

Over the summer, Oikawa turned eighteen. Instead of hosting a huge birthday party, he invited only Iwaizumi, Kuroo, and Bokuto. All three of them pitched in towards getting him acquainted with his new apartment in the city. Oikawa was looking for a new place to live to get away from his parents. The apartment was nothing like his penthouse, though it came pretty close to it. Bokuto and Kuroo stated that they might move in too, much to Oikawa's annoyance.

Terushima hosted another party that summer. This time Bokuto stuck with Akaashi the whole time and limited his drinking. A first of many.

Kuroo finished his apprenticeship with Nekomata. In both their eyes it had been a good experience and something to add to his resume.

Akaashi got to work with musicians across the city during the summer. He had the pleasure of meeting many talented artists and starting musicians.

Iwaizumi and Oikawa traveled to Fiji two weeks before their whole friend group took a vacation to the Bahamas for two weeks. The sun was nice and Akaashi and Oikawa tanned a few shades darker, unlike Kenma, who stayed cool in his hotel room, playing video games. Kuroo, Bokuto, and Iwaizumi enjoyed many long hikes in the wilderness.

When the new school year rolled around, Akaashi, Kenma, and Terushima were all placed in the same class. Akaashi found himself pleased with the situation. Despite the previous annoyance he'd had for Terushima when he first moved, he'd become good friends with the loud, rambunctious student. This year, Terushima had been selected as the captain for the football team, much to his excitement.

Akaashi had never expected to be so well known, but everyone was suddenly talking to him. When he asked Terushima about it, he'd only shrugged, stating that "that's just the way things are".

Despite no longer being at the same school, Akaashi and Bokuto continued dating. Bokuto described business school as "the most awesome and most boring thing ever". The adjectives contradicted each other, but Akaashi knew what he meant.

Being a third year was weird but eventually, Akaashi got used to it. Yachi Hitoka became the new class president.

Things were off to a great start this year. Akaashi found his place with Kenma and Terushima - both of which he would have never expected. With Kuroo, Oikawa, and Bokuto gone, someone had to fill their void. Who better than the new three. Some called them gods. Some called them the shittiest people ever. Although a lot of people knew them as The Trinity of the Rich.
