The Koul'ins inside the facility march towards the gates, bringing in high-technology guns and swords. They hear the sounds of explosions, slashes, and gunfire outside, and it was so awfully close that it's almost defeaning.
"What is going on outside? Why are there explosions...?!" A Koul'in footsoldier asked as he positioned himself near the gate.
"A group of wielders have decided to attack the facility..!"
"What?! Has anyone alerted Sir Kordaine?!"
"Yes, he said that he will be returning shortly..."
"Hope he does, it looks like the gate's not going to ho---"
BOOM!
The metal gates cave in as it finally crumples and collapses to the ground. Koul'in footsoldiers and platoon droids fly around and as the smoke clears, Zeke stands ready, behind him was Jihyo and the rest of the squad in tow.
They look around and beyond the facility.
The place consisted of a huge, white infrastructure built and merged with what was left of the once lovely elementary school. The futuristic feel of the facility seemingly compliments the derelict remains of the previous building---a symbolism of the desperate attempt of the Koul'ins to completely invade every people's lives for the sake of their cause.
"They've breached the main gate! Open fire!" A Koul'in said as a dozen Koul'ins fire their rifles towards the team.
Jihyo jumps forward and unleashes a crystalline shield that prevents most of the enemies projectiles from ever reaching the team. She advances towards the enemies and slams the majority of them with the shield. Dhe then drags them towards the glass entrance and it shatters due to the force of her tackle.
"Advance!" IU declared as the rest of the team follow Jihyo inside.
The facility was spacious, like a sleek warehouse. There were various stacks of glass shelves and tables on the sides which contained high tech weaponry and tools.
Around them were various alien machinery, some of them were incomplete, and the rest were just seemingly were in standby. It felt like a factory.
More Koul'in footsoldiers arrive, and this time, they have thicker armor, and were wielding glowing dark blue rifles, swords, and spears, bigger and more defined that those that Koul'ins back at Daegu have.
"Wow. They're very heavily armed..." Zeke muttered.
"You know they're guarding a facility filled with high-technology weapons, right? it's not like they're guarding a stack of mozzarella cheese, you know." Jihyo replied.
Zeke looks at Jihyo.
"...You know, if I were ever asked to guard a stack of mozzarella cheese, I would probably be heavily armed, too." Zeke replied.
"You sure love mozzarella cheese that much, huh?" Jihyo commented.
"Very." Zeke replied.
"Get those intruders!" A Koul'in suddenly declared as they charged at the team.
"Tear a path open!" Hyungwon declared as they all charge as well.
IU immediately takes aim and fires off a bullet that explodes as soon as it made contact with the soldiers. Most of them get flung away, while the rest resisted and still attacks.
Jihyo covers IU by clashing with the assailing aliens. Their weapons were heavy, and Jihyo was caught off guard, but she manages to work around the enemies by slashing them on their legs, rendering them incapable of movement.
