The next two weeks in the safehouse were eventful for everyone.

The various repairs that Cat made inside and outside the place was almost complete, too.

The wooden planks used to board the windows were fully replaced, the pipes underneath the bathroom area were reinforced, and all the furniture around the place was polished spotless.

In between the repairs and restorations, the team had plenty of time to recover their strength, and they all naturally got accustomed to each other's presence. Soon, it felt like they were all some sort of dormmates.

While the wielders and the rest were resting fully, some still actively did their respective duties.

Hyungwon and Vanta monitored the tablet as well as a huge, complex radio device with antennas and wires all over that was situatated on the second floor of the place, checking if there are any major anomalous activities, distress calls, or conflicts that may arise regarding the last two facilities in Gyeongsan. So far, there was none.

Cat made sure they were all living comfortably in her small space. While she was ruthless in combat, she was the opposite when it comes to her allies. She cooked dishes for them, assisted them in whatever they needed, and provided the best care for their wounds and injuries.

It was definitely a place of rest.

At least, in a physical sense.

May 11, 2023, 11:00am, Cat's Safehouse, Gyeongsan, South Korea.

Yejun was seated on the floor together with most of the team around him in a circular pattern---except for Hyungwon and Vanta, who were monitoring the map of Gyeongsan on their otherworldly tablet upstairs, IU, who was folding and fixing her coat near the door, Cat, who was busy wiping off the table in front of the mini bar, and Ryujin, who was currently taking a long lower body bath.

He was discussing yet again his adventurous feats to the team---something that seemed to be a daily thing that has been going on since they arrived in this place.

"...and then, after that, I was able to subdue the escaped bear by hitting its pressure points. Dont worry, it didnt get hurt. No tranquilizer needed, either. The zoo personnel carried it back to its cage and thanked me for my immediate response. And that's another day saved by Han Yejun!"

"So wait a minute here... youre saying that you first jogged for twenty kilometers going to a friend's house, then carried six grocery bags and delivered them to another friend four kilometers away while jogging, again, THEN got called for an impromptu hangout to the zoo with a relative five kilometers from that place... and THEN subdued a rampaging loose bear when you arrived." Hangyeol, who was next to him, said.

"You heard it right." Yejun replied.

"That's kinda sus..." Hangyeol remarked, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow towards Yejun.

"What's so suspicious about it? Ive only been telling you the truth ever since I started these daily stories."

"Yeah, but every time you narrate an adventure of yours, it gets crazier and crazier. I feel its starting to get... I dont know, exaggerated?" Hangyeol replied.

"That's just how eventful my life is. There's always adventure right around the corner. And each adventure challenges my broad and beautiful skillset. It makes the whole ordeal even more interesting, plus, it helps me master the current skills I've been honing for so long! Its exciting!" Yejun said with a laugh.

"More like tiring, to be honest..." Zeke suddenly added. "Having such tirade of back to back events like that in just several hours is a draining venture. The dedication you hold..."
