here's part 2 and another reason why "not all men" is stupid

Boys will be held accountable for their actions. Just like girls!"

humans always generalise things, here's two examples, "be careful of ticks because ticks carry lyme disease" or "the dengue virus is carried by mosquitoes"
no one ever says "not all ticks" or "not all mosquitoes" because logically we know and we understand the fact that not all ticks or mosquitoes carry infections, however enough do that you could be infected.
see where im going with this?
now let's put this same generalisation for men.
you see when we speak up about women going through abuse and oppression on a daily basis, we know- okay we KNOW it is NOT ALL MEN. we know!!
but when 1 in 3 women in their lifetime are to be raped or physically abused by a man, it is ENOUGH MEN!
that is ENOUGH MEN to make ALL women afraid. that is ENOUGH MEN that when women of all ages walk home alone, they assume that it is all men so they could keep themselves safe.
when someone says "not all men" you are making our pain, our abuse and our oppression about yourselves. you are helping no one.
that is how oppression works.
not all men but it is 97% of women have been sexually assaulted.
not all men but all women live in fear.
