‼️ Warning my dear lovely readers‼️❗ Tiniest smut scene ahead.❗
"Here's your change sir." I muttered.
The young man looked at me weirdly before grabbing his change and cupcakes.
"Damn Baybi, your acting skills are yet to fuck me up!"
"Shut the fuck up Keith." Kim groaned in exhaustion.
"Doesn't it fascinate you how she manages to act all innocent all the fucking time?" Keith rumped, refusing to shut up.
"What can I get you miss?" I asked, my voice dropping low all of a sudden when the next customer emerged.
"Um....two scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone please." The girl said eyeing me closely.
I would have rolled my eyes but my courage was the size of an ant. I just nodded and started working on her order. The whole shop was empty.
"Stop making the girl nervous Keith." Rhea whispered harshly to him.
"She's fucking faking it! How dumb are all of you? She's just making you all waste your time believing that she's scared of sounds and loud noises."
I wrapped a napkin at the bottom of the cone and handed it to the girl.
She carefully took it out of my slightly trembling hands and slapped her payment on the counter telling me to keep the change before hurrying out.
Keith was still at it. Kim was tired of cursing so she went to the back to 'blow of some steam'. Rhea and Heath we're trying to make Keith stop.
And I, I was gripping the sides of the marble to refrain my hands from trembling. My eyes stung from how close they were to tears.
Gabi was out with Derrick. I couldn't escape to her office. Lace had another 'appointment' so she couldn't accompany me to my work place.
"Hey! Baybi! I'm talking to you!"
I flinched slightly from the tone Keith was now using.
Those words, those exact words bring back unpleasant memories. Unwanted ones.
Baybi! You ungrateful girl! C'mere! I'm talking to you!
I choked on my own breath causing me to lean over the counter.
"Nasty bitch! I didn't even do anything!" He said, his voice was sounding angry. He was getting angry.
"Keith, man, I think it's okay." Heath said rising from the stool he was seated at.
Keith grabbed my arm roughly, extracting a whimper from me.
"D-don't touch me, please." I stuttered trying to pry away from his hold.
His green eyes were wild with anger. What was he angry for? I am the one being abused and I am only scared.
The faint click of the door closing alerted me that a customer had come in while my colleague was man handling me.
"Keith please. It hurts." I pleaded, my lower lip trembling.
He let go almost instantly and I stumbled back slightly.
The shop was weirdly quiet.
I took my spot behind the counter and landed my eyes on top of the marble.
