Third Person.

As soon as the words left Abigail's mouth, there was complete silence for a calm minute before Alexander –– and two of the four bodyguards that had accompanied them –– burst into the bakery shop and bellowed;

"Everybody get down!"

The warning had barely left Alexander's mouth when the glass surrounding them shattered, allowing access for more bullets to whiz past them.

Abigail recoiled in Christian's arms and through her stricken state, she watched as Gregory lunged at Derrick, engulfing him in his arms and throwing both of them to the ground.

Kim gripped Gabrielle's hand and dragged her behind the counter and stayed down while hell unraveled.

Abigail stiffened and curved, her body was shaking already and her brain was processing it's shut down. She knew what was coming, but she couldn't let it happen, this was a very bad timing.

Instead she fisted Christian's collar and said to him;

"What do we do now?"

Christian revived from initial shock at Abigail's outburst, of course, he had expected her to have an attack or something by now, but she seems to be handling it well.

"We kill them and go home first." He replied and Abigail raised an eyebrow at his words.

He chuckled. Abigail seemed perplexed that he could chuckle at a moment like this. Christian cocked his head to one side.

"I'll kill them, and then we'll go home." He corrected and kissed her temple before telling her to place her hands around her ears and stay low.

Abigail obeyed instantly while Christian took out two guns from his waist band and took the safeties off.

He then stood up at once, turned and started walking towards the shattered door.

The shooting seized at once, the people that were running  up and down stopped and the area suddenly became eeriely quiet. For those few solid seconds, everyone seemed to be registering one thing in mind.

Christian Lonsdale.

Quite a reputation he had, a reputation for eternal damnation.

The moment he raised his guns and shot the first three attackers, the road was scarce and by the time he was done with them,

Abigail understood why Kim hesitated and brushed off the news about Keith's death.

You mess with him, you die.

At the mansion, in Christian's office, Abigail's hand rattled together with the glass of water in it.

She couldn't understand, why would Orianna do that? How?

She didn't know whether or not to get angry at the girl. She had been playing her all along, she had wanted to hand her to Castillo Bychkov. She framed her own mother, and she was still blaming her father for it?

Something was not right.

"We're missing something." She muttered dropping the glass shakily on Christian's desk. "Something isn't right."

"What could be wrong Abigail? Clearly, Lace is behind all this." Theodore said.

Abigail shook her head and looked at Christian.

"There's something we're missing."

"Like what?" Gregory intercepted.

"Like why does he want me," She said, diverting her gaze to him. "I have nothing to do with this, it's all between them!"

"Because he wants to use you as bait?" Veronica offered but Abigail shook her head and intertwined her fingers.

"That was what I thought too, but I was fine when I worked at the bakery all these years right? Even when I met Lace, she didn't even mean to see me again. Even when she started sharing an apartment with me, we were fine. Everything was fine, until I left the bakery and started living with Payne." Abigail explained, trying to make them see what she's saying.

Christian folded his arms and told her to carry on.

"Kim said they started coming when I left with Payne, they must've been coming to the bakery long enough to pay attention to Derrick," She said and Gregory's attention intensified. "No one would just follow a random boy that's lurking in the hospital ––"

"Unless he knows the boy." Gregory intercepted again.

Abigail shook her head and leaned closer to the group listening to her.

"Unless, someone else told them to follow him." She said.

Everybody just became more confused.

"Derrick saw the man come out of the room, Greg, he didn't even notice the boy at first, and then suddenly he's just chasing him down?"

"That's true." Gregory muttered, realizing this for the first time.

"What are you trying to say Baybi?" Christian asked, breaking the silence for the first time.

"Remember that day we all gathered in the conference room?" They all nodded. "Andrea showed up, uninvited."

"No, you can't start throwing accusations at her, she's been here since––"

"Listen to me," Abigail cut Theodore off. "She said she heard what happened, but from who?"

There was completely silence and she took it as a sign to continue.

"Exactly, someone inside the house had informed her, and remember how she kept pressing on? Blocking out all the proof about who framed Teresa? She said 'What if someone picked the call?', and that was exactly what happened, it was planned. You all remembered how she kept twisting my words and tried to take me off point. She was trying to distract me from pointing out that someone inside the house had framed Teresa."

Christian let Abigail's word sink in, he felt so stupid for not seeing this all along. When he first brought Abigail home, how Andrea had told him she loved him, how she had kept telling him she would be a better wife than Teresa.

"Lace changed the phone because someone had told her to do it, she had no idea her mother was going to die. She had been the inside woman for years because someone assigned her and that person knew she wouldn't be a suspect. Bychkov doesn't want me, someone else does. I'm just another obstacle caught up in the twine, an old twisted love tale." Abigail said and realization dawned upon every assassin in that room.

Not even Greg had been able to unfold the mystery under their noses all this time, they had been caught in their own game.

Alexander –– as if everybody hasn't figured it out already –– said;

"It's Andrea Locks."
