It's A Date!

        It's been a couple weeks since the..."incident". John is fine, the worst of his injuries was a bruised left arm. It's nearly healed. I have forgiven Kyo completely, and have moved on.

        Back in reality, I walk to school. Kyo and Sakura stand by the front gates, waiting for me. Sakura waves as she spots me, and Kyo turns curiously, before smiling. Together we head inside. The day has started out fine and normal...that is, until lunch came.

        Sakura clears her throat as she stands. "I'll be right back." She quickly turns and walks out of the room. I turn to Kyo. "That seemed suspicious, did it not?" Kyo nods.

        I can tell there's something on his mind, but he can't seem to say it. "C'mon. Spit it out. You know you can tell me anything." Kyo stutters at first, but finally gains the nerve to speak. "I wanted to ask you something."

        "Yeah?"

        "Would you..."

        "Would I what?" I'm starting to become suspicious and a bit nervous. "If you would like to go out with me..."

        "Like...on a date?"

        "Yeah." I sit back in surprise. I think it over. "Yeah...sure. I think it wouldn't hurt to try. Plus even if it doesn't work out, we're still going to be friends, right?" Kyo nods and smiles. "Thanks." I can't help but smile too.

        Sakura returns with a smile of her own, obviously having heard or at least known about this. Class begins soon after, but I'm unable to focus. How long has Kyo liked me like that? Class finally ends, and I walk out with Kyo and Sakura. Sakura waves bye and Kyo turns to me. "Want to go to this new cafe I found?" I nod. "Sure, why not?"

        We arrive at this new cafe called ":re" and step in. It seems small, but at the same time big. It's a cute place, I think to myself. Kyo and I take a seat as the waitress walks over. I look up and pause.

        It's the same girl from a few weeks ago. The one who was staring at me, er, my eye patch. She seems just as surprised, but goes on speaking. "So, um, what can I get you two?" Both Kyo and I order the same thing. A plain cup of coffee. "Coming right up."

        The girl turns and walks away. She returns moments later with our orders. "Is there anything else I can get you?" Kyo shakes his head. "That's it, thanks." The girl nods and takes her leave.

        Kyo takes a sip of his coffee when I get the nerve up to ask. "How long have you had a crush on me?" Kyo nearly chokes on his drink. He sets it down gently and takes a breath. "Honestly...a while. A couple years actually." Really? That long? I start blushing. "

        I will admit that you are kind of cute..."

        "Hey Rose." I know that voice. I lift my head slightly. Haise stands beside me. "Oh, hi."

        "Funny meeting you here."

        "I'm actually on a date." Haise pauses and looks down at me, then to Kyo, and back to me. "R-really? Oh, sorry. I should likely be going anyways." He turns and begins to leave. He waves goodbye as he heads outside. I wave back, before turning back to Kyo.

        "How do you know Sasaki Haise?"

        "Well, I ran into him, er, we ran into each other a couple weeks ago. We said hi but never saw each other again until just now."

        "Oh."

        "Yeah..." 

        Later, we stand infront of my front door. "Well this was nice." I say with a smile. "So, um...will you go out with me?"

        "Sorry, we've only been on one date. I hardly know you."

        "What?"

        "Just kidding." I smile and hug Kyo. "Idiot. Of course I'll go out with you." Kyo smiles, and sighs with relief. I let go of Kyo and step back a bit. I wave bye and turn to head inside. "Wait!" I turn back towards Kyo, wondering what else he has to say. My mind takes a while to process what's happening.

        My lips are touching something...his lips...what do I do? He's...he's kissing me. I have to admit I (kinda) like it. It's not bad. What do I do though? What do I do? My eyes instinctively close, and I kiss back.

        I can just imagine John's reaction. Me getting kissed before he does. Haha.

        We eventually do separate. "Wha-what was that?" I ask. "I saw it in an American movie." I giggle and give him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Good bye for real now. See you at school tomorrow." We both wave goodbye as I walk inside.

        As I close the door, I'm asked a question by you-know-who. "What the hell was that?" Mwahahahaha!

So what's up people? Sorry I haven't updated in a LONG time. Gomenasai! I don't have a good excuse...not really. The main reason is because I didn't feel like it. Another reason is because I've been using my sister's laptop to play an AWESOME MMORPG I love to play called Elsword. Any Elpeeps here? Any?
