Cafe

"Hey, wanna go to this new cafe I heard about?" Kyo asks over the phone. I shrug, not that he can see it. "Sure. When?"

"How about now?" I think it over. "Yeah, sure. I've got nothing else to do." We make it a deal and I head out, calling bye to John. Kyo's and I meet up at his house, and he leads me...in the direction of the cafe. We got lost a couple times.

We finally reach the cafe after nearly half an hour. Kyo needs a better sense of direction. We head inside and take a seat. A waiter with silver hair and a stone-like glare, takes our order. Just a couple cups of coffee.

The waiter nods and takes his leave. "So..." I begin. "So what?" Kyo asks. "I don't know. Um, how about the physics homework?"

Kyo shrugs. I know it's not his most favourite thing in the world. "I don't understand it. It make sense for second then I have no idea what's going on." I complain. Kyo laughs. "I can tutor you a bit if you want."

I sigh. "Nah, I'll just ask the teacher." I look up as the waiter brings over the coffee. I smile and thank him. He nods and heads back behind the counter.

I take a sip and look out the window. My eyes narrow slightly as I notice a girl with short, light hair looking directly at me. No, not just me...shes looking at my eye patch. The girl seems to shake her head, as if snapping out of a trance. I watch as she continues walking.

She turns a corner, but not before looking back a final time. Chills run down my spine, and I shake it off. "What was that about?" Kyo asks. I shrug. "No idea."

We turn back and continue hanging out. One thing stays on my mind though. Why did that girl look at my eyepatch? It's not that uncommon to have an eyepatch these days. I tell myself it's nothing, and turn back to Kyo.

"Were you even listening?" he asks. "What? Heh, guess not. Sorry." I smile. Kyo sighs with a smile and repeats what he said. Nothing important.

Just a rumour of a new student about to join our class. I wonder what they're like.

What'dya guys think? Any good? Sorry I haven't posted in quite a while. I had no idea where to send the story but then I got a TON of inspiration. I was jotting down my ideas all of yesterday.
