(Krisha POV)
I remember that day like it was yesterday. Probably because it was yesterday. But that's not the point. Let's rewind to 18 hours ago.
I'M SCREAMING INTERNALLY. I'M SO OVERJOYED THAT WE KISSED. AND SHRIVAN HAS FEELINGS FOR ME. AND WE KISSED. IT WAS MY FIRST KISS. AND IT WAS SO GOOD. WELL, I DON'T REALLY HAVE ANYTHING TO COMPARE IT TO, SINCE IT WAS MY FIRST KISS. BUT IT WAS SO GOOD. AND IT WAS MY FIRST KISS. I'M SO HAPPY, BUT THEN I HEAR THE DOOR OPEN, AND ALMOST SHIT MY PANTS BECAUSE HIS DAD SAW IT.
Frickity frick frack. I really hope Shrivan's dad didn't see us kissing. Oh, who am I kidding? Of course he saw us kissing. His dad storms over and grabs Shrivan's hand forcefully.
"Shrivan, we are going home right now!" his dad demands.
"But-" Shrivan starts to plead.
"NO! GET IN THE DAMN CAR RIGHT THIS DAMN MOMENT!" hid dad yells.
He flinches before walking out the door.. He turns to me and somberly says, "Bye Krisha."
HIs dad turns to me, too, and yells at the both of us, "You two are forbidden to have any relationship like that. EVER!"
He storms out, dragging Shrivan behind him to the car. I look out the glass doors, unable to move, or even say anything. I see Shrivan attempting to look back at me, struggling in his father's grasp, a single tear streaming down my face, matching the one on mine.
A tear rolls down my cheek, as I remember yesterday's events. I'm in so much trouble. I have literally never seen my parents this livid before, and it scared the pee out of me. And the poop. 💩💩💩Shrivan's dad had called mine this morning, and I got the longest, I assure you, THE LONGEST lecture ever.
"Don't do that with boys."
"Don't do that with anyone."
"You are only sixteen."
"You should be focusing on school and your studies."
"Why are you do even like him?"
"I mean, come one. It's Shrivan."
"Why do you fool around like that?"
"How long have you been hiding this behind our backs?"
"We can't even trust you anymore."
I've heard all of that a billion times, now. And it hasn't even been 24 hours. My parents took my phone, so now I can't text Shrivan, and I obviously can't go to the tennis courts with him anymore. To make matters even worse, I can't even talk to Harathi, Kavya, Isha, Vani, or Marija. I wonder if Vani knows what happened. My little brother, Sid, knows, since he was there when my parents were yelling at me. He's stopped to pop in my bedroom and tease me about it five times today.
But even though, everything literally sucks in my life, a huge part of me can't help but think it was worth it. I still feel all mushy whenever I think about what happened last night. The kiss was amazing. Magical even. I had my first kiss. But it's very likely to be my first last kiss now. My parents probably won't let me date anyone for the rest of my life. I'm going to die a virgin! I trace my lips, the feeling of his delicious pink lips on mine still lingering there, but it's also slowly becoming unfamiliar. I miss him. Bad.
(Shrivan POV)
I don't even want to repeat what happened after that for the next few days, but let's just say it didn't pan out that well. On the way home, my dad was extremely angry, and gave me this huge lecture. He took all my electronics, and I'm only allowed to use my laptop for school. I was also forbidden to leave the house at all. We started going to tennis in the early morning, which not only sucked because I couldn't see Krisha, but I also had to wake up really early. I barely got any sleep at night. I was only able to see Krisha every night in my dreams after that fateful day last week.
