-----2021 (4 years after the end of season 3)-----
It was a rainy, ordinary day. The city lights were on as the sporty car with a young, tall and very handsome man was on his way back home. It was getting darker, since the time of the year was turning from autumn into winter.
Matteo was trying to keep his mind focused, however, he felt extremely tired. He couldn't tell if it was because of the stress around the upcoming album, or the disagreement with his producer that happened that day, or if it was simply because he didn't sleep well at night, which always made his muscles tense and mind scattered.
He was just hoping that Luna, the fantastic and unique creature that he loved so deeply, could give him a massage. There was something about her soft fingers that could ease any pain that he was feeling, her soothing movements on his body and her lovely, always positive and dazzling presence all combined that never failed to make him feel loved and peaceful.
He would never admit it, but peace and the feeling of being loved was something that Matteo needed as much as an air to breathe. But for his confidence it would be humiliating to say it out loud, at least he thought so. He loved that Luna knew this, but she had never made the mistake to tell him and make fun of it. It was the gestures, like her loving smile and the gentle squeeze of her hand and tender kisses that let him know that she was aware.
You could almost call it telepathy, the untouchable, ubiquitous bond that connected them on emotional, physical and spiritual level. Not even they themselves were able to explain it.
Matteo didn't even try to suppress the smile that formed on his lips just from the thought of Luna. He parked the car and headed to their house, getting mentally ready for her untamed energy and optimism that he wasn't able to share with her at the moment. But soon enough, he would be lifted up, he was well aware that Luna wasn't going to let him get away with being negative.
He unlocked the front door, since he knew his wife always locked the door (she would be nervous that she had lost her keys if she didn't) and stepped inside.
As soon as he walked into their house, his ruffled nerves were hit by the beauty of Luna's almost hippie-like style and free spirit; also by the smell of their new home. Luna's personality defined almost the whole space of the mansion, her influence was most distinguishable in the living room, because that room reflected her personality in its most unique way (with hints of Matteo's Italian sense for beautiful and original, but sophisticated style).
Matteo looked around the living room, smiling to himself, feeling satisfied that he had had the last word with choosing the colour for the walls, resolutely forbiding Luna from painting it red and convincing her to keep it white instead.
