Author's Note: Hi, people! As I promised, I'm updating first chapter of the new fanfiction. If you like Lutteo better, next time will be published a new chapter about them, I promise. But if you are curious what it would be like if Luna and Simón were endgame, then go ahead and read :) Simón is the sweetest, although almost all of us preferred Matteo. I dedicate today's chapter to the best friends of the show, to the most harmonic ship and couple of the whole serie, to the two incredibly selfless and optimistic people, who together form a team that can never be defeated. I hope you'll enjoy reading it, because I put a lot of love inside this chapter :)
----- 2021 (4 years after the end of the series 3 final)-----
Love is like the Sun. It covers your soul with light so that it illuminates your whole personality. Love turns you into a better person, it is a force you can't ever control. Love makes your heart beat twice as fast as normally when your dear one is in danger, but when they are near you, it radiates heat just like your heart was set on fire, just like the Sun.
Luna was now apparently in the first position. She felt her heart speeding up to an accelerating rhythm when she dialed Simón's number for the fifth time that day. She put a finger in her mouth, trying to concentrate on the pain that she was feeling due to biting it instead of the fast pace of her heart.
Ring, ring. And the call fell right into his voicemail. Luna tugged at her hair desperately. She muttered to herself. "Oh no, Simón. What's wrong?"
She knew he had been busy because of the tour. However, Luna felt the need to hear his voice. She desperately craved to touch him, to feel his soft lips against her and to listen to his steady heartbeat. She wasn't able to do this for the past three months and it was driving her crazy.
But if you asked her about it, she would blush and lie about it, since she wished Simón the big success he had with his band. She would never let him think she wasn't happy for him, in fact, she was really proud of her boyfriend.
She just missed him too much. And considering the fact that she hadn't heard of him for the past 24 hours alarmed her, because it was the longest time that they ever spent without calling each other.
Luna sat herself down on the couch in the living room, then looked out of the window, her mind clouding with memories.
Four years had passed since the day that she finally found the courage to tell Simón what had happened to her. It was in Cancún, right after the end of the competition. She smiled at the memory of speechless Simón looking at her, who then ran his hand through his black hair and smiled so genuinely and warmly that she knew he felt the same way. He didn't say a thing, he just wrapped his arms around her protectively and pressed his lips on hers so delicately as if not trying to break her. She felt like a princess, so loved, so adored at the moment and from then on as never before.
Just the thought of Simón made her lips curl up into a mesmerized smile. Because it was her Simón. Her best friend from childhood, who also happened to turn into the loving and understanding, optimistic and always smiling boyfriend, who she loved so dearly.
Luna's train of thoughts was suddenly disrupted by the doorbell. She got up and headed to the door, but when she opened them, there was only a big bouquet of roses of all colours lying on the treshold. Luna grabbed them carefully and breathed in the nice scent.
In that moment she spotted a note placed inside of the bouquet. It said. Happy birthday, Luna. See you soon XO
Luna's heart skipped a beat, because she recognized the handwriting immediately. She frowned. How could Simón write a note and place it on her treshold, when he was in Portugal?
