Author's Note: Hello, everyone! I noticed that a website called novelhd.com copies the chapters that I publish here on Wattpad without my consent. So if this chapter is found on that website and you're currently reading it, the original book's name is Just believe (Soy Luna One shots) and is updated by me every Sunday on wattpad.com. On Wattpad you can find many other stories you will like, such as my other works. Whoever is the plagiarist, please do not share my work without my consent.
Right, the official readers on Wattpad, welcome to the first Gastina chapter of this fanfiction! I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did while I was writing it, because Nina and Gastón's relationship is a prototype of a healthy, stable and harmonic relationship that everyone looks for and admires. I dedicate this chapter to a good friend of mine, I hope you'll like it ;) We'll meet here next Sunday, have a good day and heads up, just because the school year starts, doesn't mean we have to stop smiling :)
-----5 years after the end of season 3 (2023)-----
The walls looked so sad and unpersonal without the photos and decorations. The sunlight was reflecting on them way more than before, making the room too bright to handle. A 23-year-old woman sighed at the memories that flooded her mind when she looked around the three-room flat, all empty and abandoned now.
There, right in the corner, used to stand a stall that they used for climbing up to reach the highest shelf. And on the left side of it, there used to be the big armchair, where she could sit with her husband of one year next to each other and still be comfortable.
She smiled at the memory of them sitting there together, reading the same book and competing with one another, who will read the page faster. Who lost, had to do the one chore that neither of them liked - wash the windows. It didn't matter in the end, because no matter who won, the other always helped with it, feeling rather guilty if they let their significant other clean it on their own.
Nina woke up from her daze when she heard the front door opening and her husband saying. "I put the last box with decorations into the car, so we can go."
Few seconds later she heard Gastón's soft voice asking her, while putting his arm on her shoulder. "Did I interrupt you in reminiscing?" He asked with an apologetic smile playing on his lips.
Nina smiled at him, shaking her head. "Don't worry about it." She saw Gastón's questioning look, so she continued.
"It's all a bit sad, isn't it? I mean, this is our first flat. We've been living here since we came back from Oxford. I know we have our own house now, which is amazing, because we were building it for the past two years and we always wanted it, but it's just hard to say goodbye to the memories that this place captured." Nina's eyes behind her glasses glistened with tears.
Gastón hugged her more tightly, pressing a kiss on her forehead to comfort her. He spoke up after a while, also fighting with the spectre of emotions that he was feeling.
"I know, love. But the memories are a part of us, we will never forget what we experienced here together. And these walls will guard them forever.
Our house is beautiful, it's magical. Not to mention that most of the furniture comes from this flat, so we'll never lose it. And it's ours, we built it for our money. We are going to make a lot of other memories in that house, you'll see." He smiled at her encouragingly.
Nina gave him a half smile. Gastón caressed her cheek with his thumb, well aware how emotional and sensitive his adored Nina was, so he said, his voice coming out as a whisper. "The big armchair is in the living room, we had too much fun sitting on it to ever sell it." He grinned at her wildly, making Nina blush when she remembered all their favourite moments that happened on that chair, some of them being too intimate to ever speak about them in public.
