----- 6 years after the end of season 3 (2024) -----

Night is a good part of day, usually when everything is bathing in the moonlight. However, some nights are cloudy, accompanied by heavy rain and sometimes even by storms. Those nights are unpleasant, for some people even scary and uncomfortable.

The room lightened suddenly and soon enough a thunder strong like a train echoed through  it. Boom! The sound appeared again and subsided.

A little one-year-old girl, who was until now fast asleep in her baby cot, woke up immediately and started crying. Fear crept into her mind, threatening to take control over her body. She needed her mommy and daddy to assure her that everything was going to be alright. She thought something really bad was about to happen; she had never experienced a storm before, therefore, she did not know it was just a thunder. All she knew was that she was hearing those terrible noises and the lightning that was alternately brightening her room, then suddenly disappearing was making her uncomfortable. In fact, for a moment she thought that her parents had abandoned her. The last thought terrified her greatly.

In the neighbouring room, where her parents had their shared bedroom, her mum's receptive ears enabled her to recognize the cry of her beloved daughter even in her sleep. Luna yanked, sitting up immediately with her heart pounding in her chest. She listened carefully and really, she heard it again. This time the cry was a lot different though; it was saturated with fright and desperation, making her alarmed.

Her husband stirred on the bed. She hissed at him. "Matteo!" No response. It was always hard to wake him up, Luna hated it especially when it was in the middle of the night on a work day, however, the situation required his presence.

She shook his shoulder lightly, trying again, this time more vigorously. "Matteo! Wake up! Something is wrong."

His eyes fluttered open, giving her his full attention. "What time is it? What's wrong?" He asked, totally disoriented. He felt awake, his heart was thumping in his chest because he picked on the panic in his wife's voice.

And then he heard it too. His face lost all colour as he jumped up, while exclaiming with horror in his voice. "Giuli!" His dad mode was fully activated by that time, suddenly feeling terrified that his adored little angel could possibly be in danger. He asked Luna. "But what's wrong? What do we do?" He looked around, realising Luna was no longer in the room, her side of bed all messy and the door to the baby's room was open.

He sprinted there too.

When Luna bursted into the room like a tornado, first thing that she noticed was their little Giulia standing in her cot and holding onto the partitions for dear life. She rushed over to her, asking frantically. "Giuli, honey, what happened? Are you ill? Hungry? Bad dream?" She quickly pressed her hand onto her little forehead, sighing in relief when she found out that it was normal temperature. But Giulia gripped her wrist during the process, repeating over and over just that one syllable. "Mo-mo-mo!" It sounded scared.
