Y/N's POV
"Scarlett, bring the knife here." Hailey said and Scarlett stepped out of hiding to hand Hailey your father's knife. Once Hailey had the knife she pushed Scarlett towards the zombies, causing Scarlett to shriek in fear.
Suddenly everyone was up and bolted into the room. "SCARLETT!" Jay yelled and ran to try to save her. Zion reached out to grab him but he was too late. Jay had already dove into the crowd only to be torn apart with Scarlett. I saw Lawrence beat Hailey's skull in with a pole and take the knife back, pulling me further from danger and handing me the knife. Everyone fought hard and eventually we cleared a path to the gate where Sue locked it back up. Everyone sighed and looked at the three bodies gravely.
"Don't worry Y/N, when it comes to your safety I always get my way." Lawrence said and held me.
