Y/N's POV
I calmed my heart as much as I could. I knew this may be the last time I see him if I can't convince him.
"Lawrence...let's run away."
Lawrence seemed shocked. How could he not be? After two years of no contact I show up again and tell him to run away with me.
"Lawrence...we can go to school and at the end of the day we can head to my grandparents' place. We can live there! You will be free!" I explained with sheer joy. "No more living in misery! No more being a shadow of our bullshit expectations! Don't you want that? No more being told to give up on our passions! We can live in peace. No more bullshit..." I took a shaky breath before continuing. "No more pain, Lawrence! Before we disappear from this lie we've been living, we can stir up some trouble! Show up to class late. Ruin that picture perfect lie we've been living!"
Lawrence smiled and let out a laugh. "That sounds amazing!" He seemed happy, but there was something else. "But...what about your mom? What about my parents?" He spoke nervously. I gulped, wondering how he would take the news of what I did. I looked down. "About that..." I laughed and scratched the back of my neck.
"Y/n? What...what did you do?" His voice was laced with fear. I know it wasn't fear of me but rather he was scared for me.
"...I killed her. That's why I need to go ASAP!" I explained quietly. He sighed.
"How am I going to pack without being caught?" He asked nervously. I told him my plan and he nodded. "It's going to be risky, but it'll be worth it if we can pull it off."
