"I NEED SOME SPACE YUNHO!"

Mingi shouted from the other side of the living room. Yunho kept his gaze fixed on the floor fearing that his tears will break loose if he looked up at his beloved boyfriend.

"I- I'm sorry... Don't... Don't go." He couldn't take it. Their relationship was perfect. These small cracks meant nothing. They wouldn't wreck shit!

But that stoic look on Mingi's face left Yunho afraid. Had his boyfriend possibly fallen out of love?

"I'm going to visit my parents for a while. Take care ba- Yunho." The rolling of wheels of Mingi's suitcase was not gone unheard by the taller and the door closed.

What even was happening? Yunho was unsure. It had always been Mingi. The needy one in their relationship. And Yunho, he was more than happy to provide and fulfill those needs.

Then why? Why was his baby asking for freedom? Hadn't he been understanding enough? There was no denying that their relationship was meeting a rapid demise. Yet to Yunho, this fact was extremely ludicrous.

15 minutes had passed away yet Yunho hadn't moved an inch from where he stood.... reckoning.

When the boy finally found the energy to look up, he was only taunted by an unnecessarily big picture of Mingi and him together. Poor boy couldn't help but break down into soft cries being unable to keep it in anymore.

Mingi always loved to be extra. That frame hung on the wall was an instance. But never had he once complained. He only gave Mingi everything the boy asked for.

Yunho tried to remain sane by thinking that he was just being paranoid. It wasn't like Mingi had broken off things with him, he just wanted to visit his parents. There was nothing wrong.

Subtly nodding, he slowly made his way to their bedroom. He'd just sleep for the night and when he wakes up, it'll be to the same smile he had awoken to for the past 4 years.

The male woke up at 5 AM. He hastily checked his phone. Tears well up yet again when he scrolled through a month's worth of texts only to be left on delivered.

The coldness on Mingi's side of the bed never leaving a single chance to make him forget about how their relationship was falling apart in vain.

Miscommunications were the primary reason for the strain on their relationship. Understanding your partner's inner world and having them perceive yours is crucial to true affiliation. Yunho barely managed to get up from his bed, groggily dragging his feet to the washroom. He opened the cupboard and saw a brand new pack of condoms and lube the man had purchased 4 months ago.

Mingi and Yunho hadn't slept with each other for 4 months. The couple was known to be 'that fiery passionate couple' always on short of lubes and condoms and now there was an untouched packed box of condoms in front of Yunho's eyes.

Yunho never thought he would see this day. Never in his worst nightmares had he dreamt of this.

The doorbell brought back Yunho to reality, he instantly ran towards the door. He didn't care about the froth from the toothpaste making a mess all over his face. It was all okay now. Mingi took a month but he was back.
