"Sir for business purpose, the A675 i-displayer would be the perfect choice and for regular days, I would suggest the I-display N37 Pro."
"How much is the least expensive one?"
"Sir the least expensive would be i-display C631. It would come at 300." The retailer's face dropped down at the mention of the least pricey device.
"And how expensive are the phones?"
"Ah sir that would not be a good choice for a young lad like you. No one uses phones these days." The man tried to negotiate me into buying things not worth my pocket.
"I ain't here for advices. How expensive are those Samsung cells?" Samsung was still in fashion along with the I-displayer and S-screen.
"Sir, Samsung galaxy X9 would be 200. We don't have anything less that." He said. "Okay, pack me that. The Silver one." I saw the seller pack the device for me as I looked around the store.
The place had several posh items I don't hope and wish to buy. They had holographic image-displays and such stuff. Everything appears old to me.
I spotted a A1S7 Tech-let. I remember how my 6th grade teacher had dissected the parts to teach us its functioning and created a modified version of its programming.
It was the most popular and updated device throughout the century. The developer passed away 3 hours after it's launch.
"When's that launching?" I asked the man, pointing at the A1S7 Tech-let. "It'll be out in the market in 3 days. According to the ads, it should be a revolutionary change for the youth."
"Hmm. But the programming code would be infested by the DoS trojans." The man gave me suspicious looks. I completely forgot that the history to me, is their future.
"I mean I'm studying computing and mechanical engineering. So I was being taught on it." I tried to cover myself. "Oh! It is possible. Even the code developer himself is still said to be insecure of it and is working on developing a better one."
I nodded to his words. I know a lot of what is supposed to happen. Even after 1000 years, some suspected the company owner to have murdered the man as he broke ties with him and joined a different group.
"Can I help you with anything else, sir?" I turned around to look at him and thought of anything that I might need.
"Yeah does the phone come with any earphones?" "Yes sir." "Okay, then how do I connect with people through my phone?" In my century they don't use phones and I have read that in this time they used chips called 'sims'.
"Sir you can use sim cards. Should I register it for you? We do it here." I nodded in a reply as the man issued my cellphone number. He was thinking me of some idiot and I had to be one in this time.
"Here you go. You can now insert it in the phone." I asked the man to put on the screen gaurd and a back cover along with the sim card. I payed him an extra 10 dollars.
