"Sometimes the bad things of our existence push us towards the best things of the world, that'll ever happen to us."

The one who said that, earned my respect. I was feeling a different experience than any other day as I entered the office building with a fresh mind to kick-start my job.

I saw our new advertisement on the I-display for the first time yesterday. Although I had seen the final video long before, a strange happiness blew it's harmonic whistles in my heart.

When you've been in the dark, you start appreciating anything that shines. Yet not all learn that untill someone shakes them and wakes them up to see the beauty of the dawn.

My youth used to be a candle. It used to glow long back and then it started melting and hurting untill it was reduced to ashes and I was left with a burn.

The positive factor was that the candle had a physical change and could keep glowing again if the wick was replaced.

My wick had burnt off and now, it's replaced by a new one.

Nothing last forever. And so does my peace.

It wasn't even two minutes since I poured myself a cup of coffee, that I heard a high pitched commotion just around the corner of the corridor. I called for my intern and sent her to take a look of it, but I wish, I hadn't asked her to do so.

"I don't know how it's happening." She said.

"You don't know? But weren't you supposed to take the reports yourself?" I controlled my frustration and calmly yet in a rude manner, asked for an explanation of the calamity caused there.

"Ma'am, I swear I had secured it there but they're not listening to me." Her voice begged me to believe in her. Tears were streaming down her cheeks making her eyes red.

"Listen, just answer me what I ask you." I picked her up on her feet and pushed her hair behind her ears.

"O-okay..." She uttered with her sobs interrupting her volume.

"Did you send me you work?" She nodded.

"Did you complete it?"

"I did."

"Okay. What did they tell you?"

"They said that I am fired. Jaechan-ssi has..." I pulled her in a hug as she bit her lips. She was my intern and my responsibility. If Jaechan fired her, then I was the one to answer for her.

"Don't cry, don't cry. Look, if you have sent me and I haven't seen, irrespective of anything, I'd have sent it to my brother. He's much more dutiful about every document, okay? I'm sure he has. Just wait, I'll text him right now." I took out my phone soon after consoling her, but that wasn't close enough to help us.

Incase Jaechan fired her, I'd get a stain on my team's name. She has never failed me while collecting and working on the documents, which is why I believe, the documents weren't lost. They were stolen.
