"These blades they created were able to actually hurt demons. Something that was previously impossible with generic human weapons. The reason for this is thought to be the metal used."
"The metal they used came from Svalbard, Norway. This metal was special because it was hit by sunlight at all times for a period of 5 months. The Sami, the nomadic tribe that made the discovery, used a special smithing technique to create the blade. They were able to trap the essence of the sun within the sword."
"Thus, it was a weapon that became the weakness of demons. While it took a further 3 months for their swords to become generally known, it eventually became a staple in militaries around the world."
"Of course, what I mean by that, is that most higher ups were given the sword. After all, the swords were limited as the smithing process was long, and the metal was rather limited. These days, most blades are second-hand, or are reforged from previously broken blades."
"Eventually, soldiers began to feel belittled, after all; why were the people who weren't even on the battlefield, given the only weapon known to be effective against your mortal enemy?"
"Soon enough, soldiers began to rebel, and militaries were forced to rethink their approach to how they handled the blade situation. And that is where you guys come in."
"Governments selected the best of the best in combat, and allowed them to recruit their own squad to lead and teach. These squads were given the blades and sent in to specifically combat against demons"
"This forced anyone who wanted a blade to work harder, essentially giving everyone a fair chance."
"This would eventually lead to the creation of Demon Slayer Academies in order to select prospective candidates to become a part of the Demon Slayer Corps."
.....
"Does anyone have any questions"
....
As he said this, many hands shot up.
"You! With the short brown hair"
"Sensei, whats your name?" She asked
...
"Any question that actually relates to the subject covered- oh come on guys!"
He remarked as everyone's hands went down
"Well, we already knew all this, so we aren't really confused over it" someone spoke up
"We did?" A guy with brown bangs asked
"Of course you know all of this, after all, it was stated in your 55 page explanation that came with your student application form."
.....
"...you guys read the 55 page explanation? Right?"
.....
"Oh man, you guys are going to get fucked"

Authors Note: Sort of introduced the history of this world now. We can start moving on to the battle aspects (combat training classes) and later on some plot.Short chapter because I'm about to go into work and I haven't wrote in a while. Usually I just say I'm busy, or that I don't have time; but I feel you guys deserve a better explanation.
So here's my daily schedule:
5:30 am - Wake up
6:45 am - Get to school
3:00 pm - Get out of school
3:30 pm - Reach my house after school
4:30 pm - Go to work
11:00 pm - Get off work
11:30 pm - reach home and go to sleepRepeat 🔁
Now I do have days off (only 2 a week) but I use those days to catch up on school work or sleep. This is why I'm having a hard time updating stories, honestly I kind of want to give up my story to another author so they can continue the story —- HOWEVER, my pride says no. Also, there aren't many authors I think I could trust to continue my stories. Or maybe there isn't even anyone who would want to continue it, who knows.
Good enough for a teaser chapter~
Be on the lookout for that, Cya.
