Chores

I woke up to hear a lot of noises coming from downstairs. I got up out of my bed and went into my bathroom to take a shower. I put my hair in a bun and put on some yoga pants and a batman shirt because I love batman.

 I walked downstairs to see everyone running around. I guess everyone woke up late. I'm so glad that I don't have to take school anymore. I walked up to the coffee machine and poured me a glass. I saw Emma walk by and she grabbed her keys from the counter and said a quick goodbye. I waved at her and saw her leave out the front door. 

I knew that Ryan had already left. He always left early so he could pick up his girlfriend before school started. 

"Hey, Honey, can you let in the tutor for Aaron, Melody and Tyler when she gets here." My Mother asked me. 

"Sure, no problem." 

"Thanks honey, we won't be back until late tonight." My Mother told me. 

"Ok, when is that new worker going to be here." I asked them. 

"He should be here by Wednesday." My Mother said.

 "Ok, Thanks." I said. I must be doing all the work by myself for the two days. I hope it's not a lot of work. I put my empty cup in the dishwasher. I said goodbye to my parents and when I was closing the door for them. 

The tutor had pulled up next to my car. I have a car but I never use, I usually take King into town. Town isn't that far away from our house. It's like a 15 minute ride from our house, if I take the short cut I had found. It goes right pass the new neighbor's house. I let the tutor in and went to go grab the monsters from upstairs. I got Melody and Tyler downstairs but I couldn't find Aaron. He loves playing hide and seek. 

"Aaron where are you?" I whispered. I walked down the hallway and I heard a little noise come from one of the side closets. "I yelled Marco, and I heard a little Polo come from the closet. I smiled and opened the closet and found Aaron sitting in the bottom of the closet. I reached down and grabbed him and he wrapped his arms around my neck. I started tickling him and when he said stop. I did and I carried him down the stairs. I sat him in his chair in the school room that we had and said a quick goodbye to the other monsters. I closed the door once Ieft.

 I went to the whiteboard that we had hanging on the wall in the kitchen to see what I had to do for the next two days before the new guy shows up. The first thing on the list was to feed the animals and clean out the horses stalls. I went to one of the halls and grabbed my boots. I walked out the back door and into the barn to grab the chicken feed. I noticed that we were out. That means I have to go into town. Well it would be nice to give one of the new horses a good ride. 

I thought. I went back into the house and told the tutor that I was leaving and going into town real quick and that I would be back in 30 minutes. I walked back into the barn and grabbed Oreo from his stall and saddled him up. I got on him and walked him towards the meadow. That we had to go through to get to the town. 

We cantered across the field until we got to the edge of our fields. I rode passed the neighbors house and saw a teenage boy and a younger boy playing basketball on the drive way. I slowly rode by and finally noticed that the little boy was waving at me. I waved back and smiled and rode down the street towards town. I finally made it to town and got some chicken feed and tied it to the back of Oreo. Oreo was a great horse. I think he could be a race horse but I didn't want to full on sprint with him while I had the chicken feed tied to the saddle. 

I rode pass the neighbor's house but no one was out this time. I rode through the meadow and made it back to the barn. I put Oreo back in his stall and put the chicken feed where it was suppose to go. I went back in the house and told the others that I was back. I feed all the animals and when I was done it was time for lunch.

 I went inside and made some sandwich and gave them to the others and made one for the teacher. After lunch I went back to the whiteboard and saw that I had to repaint the fence to the cow's. I grabbed the buckets of paint and I started painting. 

I hope that I was getting paid for this, I thought. After about five hours of painting. I saw that the tutor was leaving. I went inside and saw that Aaron, Tyler, and Melody sitting on the couch watching Disney Channel. I grabbed four bowels from the cabinet. I grabbed the bag of frozen fruit and poured some in each bowel.

 "Hey, guys I made a snack for everyone." I told them. They came running into the kitchen and sat at the island chairs. I put the bowels in front of them and they started eating. I ate mine too. 

"So how was your guys' lessons today?" I asked them. 

"It was fine, we learned about different cultures today." Tyler told me. 

"Cool," I said.

 "Aaron learned to write his name." Melody told me. 

"That's great Aaron." I told him. Aaron just smiled at me. An hour later Emma and Ryan came home and hanged out with Aaron, Melody, and Tyler. 

While I went to take a shower and get changed from my work clothes. After I was done taking a shower. I heard the front door open and our parents were home and they had brought Chinese home with them. I hate Chinese. I thought. 

Went downstairs and grabbed a frozen meal from the freezer and put it in the microwave. Everyone else were eating the food on the table they had brought home. I think they were talking about there day at work or something. 

"So how was school," My Mother asked everybody. 

"It was fun, Aaron learned how to write is name, Mom." Melody told everybody. Aaron smiled and nodded and ran quickly into the school room and grabbed the paper that he had showed me earlier to our parents.

 "I'm so proud of you Aaron," Our parents said. 

"Well, Emma I'm going to be nice and give you Walker the gray horse that we just got," I told her. She screamed and jumped up and down and she came over hugged me. 

I laughed and hugged her back. She was wanting a horse for a while now and the only way she was getting one was from me, since they were all mine and I knew that I couldn't take care of all of them by myself.

 I couldn't wait until that new kid came to help out around the house. 

"I went over to say hi to the new neighbor's and they have the same genetic gene has us isn't that crazy." My Mother said. I think I about dropped my food. I was kind of hoping that one of them was my Soul Mate, but I knew that I couldn't get my hopes up. 

"Also the boy's name is Matt, he's 18 years old and he said that he could start working tomorrow morning." My Father told me.

 "Thank god, I don't think I could do another day of work by myself." I said. I said a quick good night to everybody because I was so tired from all of the work today. I knew tomorrow was going to be harder.
