Promise

I have had my boot off for a couple of weeks. I asked my parents if I could start riding and training for the completions that are coming soon. I usually would have started training a month ago but I had broke my ankle. Matt sometimes comes and watches me train. I love my trainer her name is Lisa. When I have been training I have been training with King. King is the best jumping horse in the world. We almost got first last year but this girl from a town a couple of miles away. I didn't mind that I got second place I just love riding.

 The first completion is coming up in 3 months. I have been training on the weekends. I have been working with Matt during the weekdays. Our pool is finally finished and our barn is almost finished. My parents are throwing a party tomorrow and invited some of their friends over. Ryan is bring his girlfriend and I was aloud to bring Matt. I got down with training for a little bit early and I was bring King into the stable when I say Matt giving Oreo a carrot.

 "What are you doing?" I asked him. Matt jumped up real quick and smiled at me. 

"Nothing." Matt told me. I laughed at him under my breath, after I was done putting King in the stable. I walked up to Matt and gave him a hug. 

"How has your day been?" I asked him. 

"Great now that I'm hanging out with you." Matt said. I blushed.

 "Do you want to go on a boat ride with me?" Matt asked me. 

"Yes!!" I said. "Ok, I'll meet you back at my house in a half hour." Matt said.

 "Ok," I said and gave him a quick kiss. I went back up to my house, I walked up the stairs into my room. As I walk into my room I see Emma looking through my closet. 

"What are you doing?" I asked her. She jumped up real quick and hide the dress that she was stealing from my closet behind her back.

 "Nothing." She said. 

"Why are you stealing my dress?" I asked her. I looked her in her eyes and saw that she had her regular green eyes.

 "O my gosh you meet your soul mate." I screamed at her. She smiled and nodded at me. I ran up to her and hugged her. 

"Who is he?" I asked her. 

"Well there was a new guy in English class and their was a open seat next to me and he introduced himself to the class and he looked around the room and I noticed that he had the same color eyes as me and I smiled at him and I couldn't stop staring at him. His name is Adam and he as black hair and brown eyes. He is so cute. I can't wait for you to meet him. He's coming to the cookout tomorrow so I can let him meet the parents and I'm going on a date with him in a hour." She told me. 

"That is so great I'm so happy for you." I told her. I gave her my dress and I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower and put on some shorts and a black shirt. I walked all the way to Matt's house. I knock on the door and it open up and I looked down to see Matt's little brother Harry staring up at me. 

"Hey, Harry." I said. 

"Hey Sam." He said back. 

"Matt's almost down he should be down in a couple of minutes." Harry told me. 

"Ok," I said. Harry led me into their kitchen and I sat down at their island and I talked to Harry until Matt came down and took me out back to their lake that they had. Matt led me to the boat and he helped me in then he climbed in right behind me. He rowed us to the middle of the lake. The lake was so pretty. I looked at Matt and smiled at him and he grinned back at me. 

"So you still coming to the cookout tomorrow?" I asked him.

 "Yeah, I wouldn't miss it." He said. "Emma found her soul mate," I told him all about Sam. Matt was happy for them. 

"Sam, I have a question to ask you." Matt told me. I looked at him and nodded my head at him. A lot of things went flying through my head trying to figure out what was happening. 

"Samantha, I love you so much, I don't want to live any day without you. I love your smile and the way you look at me when I enter the room. When you smile, your smile just fills up the room. I love hanging out with you. So Samantha I want to give you this promise ring because I'm here to stay. I never want to leave you and I want to promise that in the future that I will always be there for you." Matt said. I looked at him and I felt tears running down my face. 

"Yes!! Yes!!!" I said and he put the ring on my finger and I jumped up real quick and I pulled him into a hug and all of the sudden the boat tipped over and we fall into the nice cold water. I swam up to the top of the lake and I found Matt right in front of me. 

I smiled at him and he pulled me closer to me and leaned down and kissed me. The kiss was full of love. When we kissed we molded together, fitted against one another with stunning perfection. I had never felt as I did now, the strength of his arms around me. I felt as though I'd found a moment of forever. Like this was how we should always be. I pulled back and rested my forehead against his and smiled at him. Matt helped me back into the boat and Matt rowed us back to shore and helped me out. Matt walked me back to my house and said goodbye and kissed me. 

I closed the door and leaned against. This had to be the best day ever. I looked down at my ring. It was so simple and pretty. It had one big diamond in the middle and several small diamonds next to it. I couldn't wait until tomorrow!!
