Ride

I woke up and took a quick shower. My parents were taking the whole family to the amusement park but I asked them if I could stay home and clean up the house for them while they took everyone else. Ryan was taking Kate with him and Emma was taking one of her friends with her. I didn't like amusement parks very much. I'd rather go on a ride. 

I went downstairs and said a quick goodbye to everybody and then I started cleaning the kitchen. After I was done cleaning the kitchen I went upstairs and grabbed a jacket. It was a little chilly outside today. I went out to the chicken coop and feed the chickens and gathered the eggs. I put them in the outside fridge. I went to the horse barn and went to go saddle up Walker I hadn't ridden him yet and my sister said he was a really good horse. I got Walker saddled up and got on him. Matt couldn't hang out today because he had to do somethings for his Mom today. I started trotting to one my favorite spot and I wanted to see if Walker was a good jumping horse. 

I started Walker at a sprint toward the log. As soon as we were about to jump Walker started going crazy. Walker stopped really quickly and flung me off of him. I landed on my leg and I heard a snap. I cried out. I saw Walker run away. The pain was horrible, I couldn't move. I felt around for my cell phone and I grabbed it off the ground and the screen was shattered and I tried to turn it on but the screen wasn't turning on. I throw my phone and I started crying. It was getting dark and I knew my parents were going to be home soon. I tried to pull my jacket closer to me and get was getting colder every minute I was laying there on the ground. I finally passed out from the pain and the coldness.

Several Hours Later

I woke up to someone calling my name. I tried to sit up and then I realized that I couldn't move and I cried out in pain. I kept hearing someone calling my name. 

"Help, I'm over here." I yelled out to who ever that was. I say someone on King 

"Sam, is that you." The person call out. I saw a flash light shine on my face. I looked up and I saw Matt looking down at me. 

"Sam, I'm so glad that you are all right, we have been so worried about you." I heard Matt say. 

"Matt, I'm so glad too see you, my leg is broken." I said while I was crying.

 "Shhh it's ok, your safe now, I'm here." Matt told me. He bent down and hugged me and I held on him for all of my life. Matt kissed me on the forehead. 

"I'm going to pick you up now and I know it's going to hurt a lot but we have to get you to a hospital. I nodded my head at him and wrapped my arms around his neck. He put his arms under my legs. I cried out in pain. 

"I'm sorry," He said. He carried me to King.

 "This is going to hurt we have to ride back to your house." Matt told me. I passed out on the ride back to the house. I woke up to find myself in a hospital bed. I opened my eyes to find my parents on my right side of me. 

"Mom, Dad?" I said. 

"O sweetie we are so sorry, we should have stayed home with you," My Mother said. She said with tears running down his face. 

"It's ok Mom, it's my fault I took Walker out and I didn't even try and see if he was ok with jumping I just tried it out." I told them.

 "No, it's not your fault." My Father said and kissed me on the forehead. I heard the door open. I looked around my parents, I saw Matt walk in with Aaron, Melody, Ryan, Emma, and Tyler. 

"Hey, guys," I told them. 

"Sami," I heard Aaron call out. I smiled at him and I tried to reach down and pick him up to put him on my bed to say hi to him. Matt beat me to it and put Aaron on my bed for me. 

"Hey, buddy," I told him and pushed his hair out of his eyes. 

"Are you ok, Sami?" Aaron asked me.

 "Yeah, I'm going to be better," I just broke my ankle," I told them. 

"Ok, guys I think we should let Sam rest," I heard my Father tell everyone. 

"Hey Emma, did you find Walker?" I asked her. 

"Yeah, he was in the barn when we came back but we knew something at had happened because he was getting the hay and was still saddled." Emma told me. I nodded my head at her and looked down at my hands. Everyone left except Matt. 

"Hey, how are you really doing?" Matt asked me.

 "I'm just really tired," I told him. "I'm sorry that I couldn't find you faster, I should have found you faster," I heard Matt say. 

"No it's not your fault, It's mine, I should have tried out Walker before I took him out to the meadow." I told him. 

"Do you want me to stay here with you?" I heard Matt ask me.

 "No, I'll be fine, you can go home if you want to." I told him.

 "Well, I'd rather stay here with you," Matt told me honestly. I scooted over and padded the spot next to me and he got on the bed and layed down next to me. I fell asleep to Matt's arms wrapped around me and I fell into a dreamless sleep.
