Today is the big cookout. My Mom has had several helpers, helping her make all of the food for today. I have mostly been staying out of the way. Emma has mostly spending all of her free time hanging out with Adam. Last night after Matt brought me home from our date, I played a game with all of the younger kids. Melody beat us at the game.

She just loves playing uno. It's our favorite family game. I got out of bed and went and took a shower. When I walked back into the room, my Mom was sitting on the bed holding a beautiful dress. It was a high low dress with sparkles on the top. A sweetheart neck line and it was white.

"That is so beautiful." I told her and sat down next to her.

"It's for you, I saw it yesterday when I went shopping and thought of you and I bought a dress for you sister to it's just in green." My Mother told me. I was reaching for it when she grabbed my hand. I looked down and saw that she had grabbed the hand that I was wearing Matt's promise ring on.

"When did you get this?" My Mother asked me.

"I got it yesterday, Matt gave it to me." I said.

"It's beautiful," My Mother said. After my mom left I got dressed into some regular clothes because I had to do some chores before the cook out. I put my hair into a ponytail and went downstairs and ate some breakfast. After I was done eating, I went outside to the backyard and saw a much of decorations up for the cookout.

My Dad had order a huge dance floor and a little stage for the band to stand on. When my parents had cookout's or party's I promise you that you would always remember there party's they hold. Went to the barn to find Matt already getting the feed ready for the cows.

I had to feed the horses and chickens and Matt has to feed the cows. He got the harder job. I hate feeding the cows you would have to take the truck and drive a little out to put it in the cow feed holder. I snick up on Matt and jumped on him and wrapped my arms around his neck. Matt grabbed my legs and made me wrap them around him.

"What do you think your doing?" He asked me.

"I'm just hanging." I said back. I laughed. Matt carried me to the hay stacks and sat me down so that I was level to him.

"You ready for the huge cookout that my parents are holding." I said.

"It doesn't look like a cookout it looks like a huge party." Matt said. I laughed at him.

"Your Mom and brother can come if they want to." I told him.

"Yeah, I bet they will." Matt said. I leaned down and rested my forehead on Matt's.

"I want to show you something." I said. I gave Matt a quick kiss and went to the horses.

"You ever ride bear back?" I asked him.

 "Yeah, but once." Matt said.

"Well your going to do it again." I said while laughing at him. We got the horses out and we started riding to my secret spot, the waterfall. We rode across the field towards the trail that I usually take. I slowed down and went towards the trail and got off of King and Matt got off of Oreo. We walked the horses to a tree and tied them up.

I grabbed Matt's hand and we walked towards the waterfall. I turned back and smiled at him. Matt smiled back at me. When we finally made it to the waterfall. I turned back around to see his face. His face was in pure surprise. I laughed at him and dragged him to my favorite spot near the waterfall. While I was grabbing the box of things that I have hidden in a spot near the waterfall Matt finally started talking.

"This place is so beautiful." Matt said.

"Yeah, I found this place one day when I was exploring when we first moved in. You and I are the only ones that know about it." I told him.
