It has been three days since Juno and Bucky broke up. Three long excruciating days since she left the Compound and had hit an all time low. Three long days and nights of constant crying and moping, but as of today she was done. When Juno woke up this morning she was determined to clear her head and get back to work. So she stripped, took a shower and finally washed her hair before getting dressed in real clothes and not pajamas. Making sure to put on a face of makeup to cover up the dark circles and try to bring some life back into her face so she wouldn’t look like death walking when she went in to see Fury.

This morning she had called Nick to tell him that she was ready to get out of here. He'd told her that her plane ticket would be waiting at the airport for her, she just needed to show up at the airport by 3 AM. Packing her bag and what was left of her things that Juno for sure wouldn't be taking with her and set the boxes with the others that would be going to her newly rented storage unit. It was all set up with auto payments; she just needed to give him the information so movers could take them for her. After her meeting with Fury all that was left for her to do was go say goodbye to her family. Her real family. Anyone who Juno wouldn't be able to say goodbye to in person she’d call them later.

Locking up her apartment, Juno made her way down to the street intending to go to the coffee shop on the corner. Changing her mind at the last minute she went to hail a cab when one came to a screeching stop in front of her. Leaping back she was about to ask what the hell he was doing when the back passenger door practically came off of its hinges when Steve opened it and yanked her inside slamming the door closed behind her. "Juno, come on. We need to go. Now!” Turning to the cabbie he leaned forward desperate for the man to get a move on. “Sir, I need you to step on it."

Half turning around the older gentleman looked from Steve to her with concern in his dark brown eyes. "I'm sorry Captain, but do you know this woman?"

Grateful that he was making sure she wasn't getting snatched, Juno let him know she was in fact not being kidnapped by Captain America. "Yes, I know him." That's all he needed to hear before he sped back into traffic. Turning to face Steve, Juno was thrown into his side when the cab took a sharp turn. He wrapped his arms around her to hold her so she didn't get thrown into the door as they very abruptly turned another corner. "Are you going to tell me what the hell is going on?"

"Bucky knows where you've been staying. Sam overheard him yelling at an agent to give him a car because he had to come talk to you." He looked behind them as he told her to buckle up. Snapping the seat belt into place Juno kept one hand on the door as Steve gave the cabbie random directions.

"How did he find out?" He wouldn't look her in the eye. That didn’t reassure her that he’d kept his mouth shut and she found that she was shocked that he had been the one to spill the beans. "Steven Grant Rogers, how did James find me?"

Grimacing at the use of his full name he avoided looking her in the eyes. No one since his mother had done that, leaving him feeling like a chastised little boy. "He might have overheard Tony, Fury and I arguing about you. And he might have overheard Tony yell that you were better off with us than holed up in my old hellhole of an apartment here in Brooklyn." Steve rubbed the back of his neck looking extremely guilty.

"Really, Steve?" Juno rubbed her hand over her forehead in exasperation. This she expected from Tony, but Jun had hoped that Steve of all people would be much more careful. Oh she could feel a headache coming on. She so did not need this today of all days.

"I know. I'm sorry. If it helps, I'm pretty sure I was able to get to you before he saw me grab you. Tony and Fury had an agent keeping an eye on his coming and goings, in case he tried to come find you. I was notified as the agent tried to keep him distracted so I could get into the city."
