September 22nd

Today was the first day of fall and the day that Thor was leaving for New York. The day after he arrived he had decided to extend his stay longer than his original plan of just a couple of days. Something Juno had been more than pleased by. Being so outgoing Thor insisted they spend the week roaming the city. His hope was in helping Jun find new places to hang out and even a couple of new friends that she might be too busy to be sad once he left. They'd even gone on a day trip to Norway to visit Dr Erik Selvig who was doing some research at an observatory there. When he had heard Thor was so close, Selvig had invited the two of them to spend the day with him. It had been fun hearing all about their first meeting back in 2011 and the leaps and bounds Erik had made in his work since meeting the Norse god.

Laying in bed far longer than she usually would, Juno thought about how she was going to miss their days spent exploring the tourist traps and all of the hidden gems London had to offer. She would miss their lazy afternoons watching movies and gorging on snacks on the couch. Evenings spent at The Crown and Thorn with Tom, Charlie and Johnny drinking and laughing with good friends, new and old. She would even miss all of his annoying habits that right now she found endearing.

Not wanting to get lost in sad thoughts Juno reluctantly gets out of bed and heads to the bathroom to shower for the day. Having finished getting dressed after her shower Juno jumped when she heard Thor's booming voice echo throughout her apartment for her to hurry up. “Juno, come along. I am starving and the pastries are getting cold!”

She laughed as she tossed her slightly damp hair up into a messy bun on her way out of her bedroom calling back in a much quieter level than the Asgardian. “Go ahead and start eating. You know, you don't have to wait for me every morning.” Rolling her eyes in amusement as she walked down the long hallway towards the kitchen at his reply.

“My mother would be ashamed of me if I ate before my hostess arrived at the table!” He continued to yell instead of talking. Juno thinks to herself that he must have thought that she couldn't hear him if he wasn't bellowing at full volume.

“So she would be okay with you screaming across the apartment complaining that you're starving even though I'm pretty sure you have eaten me out of house and home over the last week?” She smirked thinking about his face and the panic he was probably feeling at disappointing his mother. He was such a mama's boy and she knew it.

There was a minor pause before he bellowed in a slightly less loud volume, “You are correct. I shall refrain from yelling now.”

Grinning Juno made her way into the kitchen, patting him on the back as she walked past him to the electric kettle to turn it on. “I'm here, you can eat now.” As soon as he saw her Thor began to devour his giant stack of Pop-Tarts and pot of coffee. “You really are too much sometimes.” She says coming over to sit next to him at the counter. Resting her chin on her fist as she watched him shovel half a cinnamon roll flavored pop tart into his mouth and take a bite.

“And yet you love me.” He smiles at her, stuffing the rest of it into his mouth, getting crumbs in his beard and not caring.

Standing up when the kettle was ready she shot him a wink. “Do I love you? Is that what this feeling is?”

Grinning back at her sass he confirms it. “Most assuredly.”

“I'm annoyed that you know that.” She said, taking down a large mug with Jim Halpert dressed as Dwight Schrute on one side and on the other side it said, 'Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica'. Pouring in the hot water over a tea bag, Juno stirs in two spoonfuls of sugar and pops in a couple slices of bread into the toaster for her own breakfast. Setting the mug to the side to let the tea steep, Juno gets out a bowl before walking over to the fridge to get out the container of cut fruit. Dishing up the mixed melon, strawberries and blueberries into the bowl she puts the container back in the fridge and grabs out the butter for her toast.
