We got Conlue K. and Rubric again :D

Thaslassophile: A lover of the sea; Someone who loves the sea.

🌺°🌊°🌊°🌊°🌺

The Conlue Kingdom was on a simple Trawler boat. She and her capital, Deanimp, and some humans were out looking for the one and only, Lost City of Atlantis.

They had both looked at the water currents, the sea life behavior, the underwater and overwater rocks formation.

Conlue looks at her map. Her kingdom was about 2 miles away; Her kingdom was a large, sandy, tropical island.

The monarch had taken her team to The Open Gulf. When she had first seen the map of her country as just a young girl, she saw how the island looked like it was cut in half. Everyone told her there was never anything there, but she knew there had to have been something there. After inspecting the rocks, there had to have been something there. The rocks underground just dropped down deep. For no apparent reason.

Conlue's flag was half white and the other half was navy blue. She had curly hair that was back but had one long strand that was covering some of her right eye. Her eye color was arctic light blue. She was wearing a full-body swimming suit that was black with the outlines being white. With a gray hoodie over the top with the black words, Ascend on the front. She looked to be in her mid-20s, but she was over 150 years old.

"Conlue," Deanimp said. "We're in the center of where the rocks drop."

Conlue looks back at him. Deanimp's flag was similar to her own. His flag was navy blue with a white circle on his left side, and in the circle was a picture of the national animal of the Conlue Kingdom, the Royal Secretary Eagle.

The Royal Secretary Eagles was a mix of the golden eagle and Secretary bird. It was bred a long time ago; It was bred for protecting the royalty, hence the name.

"Good, Dean. Get ready to dive." He nods.

After an hour underwater, Conlue and Deanimp resurface. "Find anything?" Deanimp asks.

"No," Conlue says, very disappointed and slightly sad. She sees the Trawler just a small ways away. "Come on, let's go back."

They both swim over and the humans help them up and give them towels.

Conlue sits on the edge of the boat. Another disappointment. No sign of life, besides some seagrass. All that's left is strong currents at the bottom.

Deanimp notices her chagrin. "Don't worry, my queen. We'll find the city eventually."

Conlue looks up at him. "I hope... But... We might have to face the fact... Atlantis doesn't exist."

Deanimp widens his eyes, he sits by his country. "No, no. Con, we mustn't give up. We just didn't get lucky today..." He gives a reassuring smile. "I will see what our scientists found. You clear your head." Deanimp stood up. Before he leaves he takes Conlue's hand. "Don't worry, my queen. We'll find Atlantis! Just believe. And believe in yourself." He smiles.

Conlue can't help but smile back at Deanimp and his goofy smile. "Okay, Dean."

He nods and heads off.

Conlue sighs and watches the waves below her.

It had turned foggy. Thankfully they had a campus and a map so that they knew where to go and where home was. The waves were darker yet easier to see through without the glare of the sun.
