Everyone knew of the Romans and their ultimate downfall. The children of Europe were practically gods in any man's eye, but with all that power, everyone forgot that their mother was just a mortal. The Roman Kingdom was the firstborn and the first to fall. Even with all of her skills, she was killed by a sickness that caused her to be weak and eventually die. Roman Republic was the second born and her graceful and kind nature could not save her from a cruel death, as she was impaled by a sword from the assassins of Caesar, who didn't approve of her marriage to the Egyptian Empire... she and her unborn child died. This marks the end of-

"What about Roman Empire?" 13 colonies asks curious.

"Wh... What?" Habsburg Italy looks at the young colony.

"There's still the Roman Empire! Also known as the Western Empire! Didn't he die?"

"Well we believe so-"

"He's still alive?!" The colony gasps. "I could meet the Roman Empire?!"

"Well no. Collin. He's likely dead now."

"How do you know?" The colony turns his head suspiciously. "If there's no tomb or gravesite, maybe he's still alive!"

"Well I-" The Italian thinks to himself.

"What happened to Roman Empire? I wanna know why he didn't get a tomb." British Colonies replies after a long minute of silence.

"Well, The Third born, Roman Empire also known as the West Empire, was taken from his home when his Empire fell and there are almost no records of what happened to him."

"What about the Eastern Empire?"

"Well, He still lives, as Holy Roman Empire." The Habsburg colony explains.

"Where is he?"

"Well, he's up north over central Europe."

"You say well a lot-"

"Well-" The Italian stops as he realizes that he is right. "Well- Ugh." The Italian sighs. "I guess you don't wanna know about Roman history." He teases. He stands up and walks off.

British Colonies started following quickly. "Hey! Wait up!"

Italy sighs and waits for his friend at the top of the hill. He looks down at the Roman Ruins, wondering to himself what they looked like before age caught up to them.

Collin looks down at the ruins with him. "Do ya ever wonder what this place looked like before it became so broken?"

Italy chuckles because his mind had almost been read. "Yeah, all the time."

British Colonies smiles and looks up at the Italian. "Do you think Roman Empire was buried somewhere?"

"I don't know. A lot of people hated him..."

"Do you think they gave him a hard time?"

"Yes, indeed. Why wouldn't they?" Collin was quiet again. Then Italy sighs. "The sun's starting to get low... We should head back."

"What? Already?" The small colony looks up at his tall friend. "We haven't even gotten to look at the ruins up close!"

"You want to see them every day." The Italian sighs.

"Yes! And we must again!" Collin started running down.

"Hey! Get back here!" The Italian runs and passes his younger friend quickly. Habsburg Italy ran along and from Collin's view, he glided along the grass outside. Italy did have a long stride but also a long tail and feathered golden wings of a dragon that ran in the Roman family. Italy enjoyed to have short horns so he often trimmed them down but the Brit remembers that they had been such an annoyance, recently, that he had just sliced them off. The horns were still unseen because of that. His flag was the Habsburg flag (which is exactly like today's Austrian flag) and there wasn't anything else to him that made him stand out from the other Habsburg colonies besides his dragon features and ivy green eyes. He wears a grey-red color of a 1500s button up with no sleeves. He did have a coat but it was discarded in the castle a while ago. Under the button up were long, green, draping sleeves. He had the little puffs of fabric that went around his legs and green stocking's. Everything on him seems to be ripping and stained from the amount of usage. Habsburg never came by, so who would care?
